Zhinvali Water Reservoir
Zhinvali is a townlet in Georgia, Dusheti Municipality, on river Aragvi. It has one of the largest hydroelectric power stations in Georgia.
Ananuri fortress complex
Ananuri castle represents multifunctional architectural complex of the late feudal times in Georgia. Built on the right bank of Aragvi River in 16th-17th cc, it was the main seat of Aragvi Eristavi - Dukes dynasty since 13th c . The village Ananuri is located on the main trade rout leading to the North, to Russia and in past it was part of the Great Silk Road. Nowadays the road is called the Georgian Military Highway. The distance from Tbilisi is 74 km (1 h) - beautiful driving along the Zhinvali water reservoir damping clean and blue mountain river of Aragvi. The castle, the bell tower, three churches and beautifully carved walls are the highlites why the site is frequently visited.

5.00Absolutely incredible experience with Visit Georgia with George! Our trip to Gudauri Ski Resort was seamless from start to finish. George is an outstanding coordinator with top-tier communication skills; he was always available and made the planning effortless. Our driver, Sergi, was fantastic—punctual, professional, and incredibly friendly. He provided fascinating, in-depth references throughout the journey that made the history and landscapes of the region come alive. It felt less like a standard tour and more like exploring with a local friend. I will certainly use them again for my next visit! Five stars all the way!

5.00We’re an Italian family who just got back from your tour, and we had to write to say thank you! Everything was wonderful. The places we saw were stunning—the mountains, old monasteries, vineyards, and cute little towns. Georgia is so beautiful! Our guide Beso was the best part. He knew so much and explained everything with real passion, but he was also super positive and kept us laughing all day with his jokes. He felt more like a friend than a guide. Thanks for organizing such a great trip. We’ll definitely recommend you (and especially Beso!) to everyone back home in Italy.

5.00Indeed Gudauri satisfied our expectation. There’s a lot of activities you can do in Gudauri from skiing, to cable cars, to snow mobile and paragliding. My son who is 5 yrs. old had a lot of fun using the kid-friendly snow car - because the area provides a good slope for kids to enjoy the snow safely. Also, within the area - restaurants and washrooms are available. Plus factor is that there are so many areas good for picture taking and sight seeing. Though it will be a long ride from city to Gudauri - having our Super Guy Tour Guide George - the long drive is enjoyable - he will keep you entertained and well informed about the trip so the whole journey is superb!

5.00We had a wonderful trip exploring Georgia, and our tour guide, Beso, made it even more enjoyable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing so much about Georgian history, and we really appreciated his insights. He was also very patient with us, as we were traveling with two younger kids and needed some downtime along the way. The only thing I would note is that the roads to Gudauri can be a bit nerve-wracking, especially at night. If we were to do it again, we’d definitely aim to leave as early as possible in the morning to make sure we’re back before sunset. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this tour!

5.00We went to Gudauri Mountain range . The weather was excellent , bright and sunny . We really enjoyed the Cable Car ride till the Top ( 3 stations ) . We then went to Jvari Monastery and also saw the black and white river mixing with each other . Our Tour guide George took us to an Indian Restaurant where we had Masala Tea .. overall nice trip. Our tour guide George was knowledgeable and helpful .
