5.00We thoroughly enjoyed Shanghai Foodie’s “Authentic Local Food Tour.” Patrick, the local guide, was incredible, very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The tour itself was packed with good food, and paced well with nice walks across different neighborhoods in between the many food stops. We definitely would recommend this tour and Patrick to others who want insights and overview of the delicious food Shanghai has to offer.

5.00It was a perfect start of our last day in Shanghai. We met Li , our guide, early morning in the park full of dancing and practicing locals. Such a wonderful atmosphere! We strolled through still quiet FFC streets, meeting early risers on Saturday morning, taking their breakfast in their favourite shops. The tour was not about damplings or dim sam as you would expect, Shanghai's food culture is so much more interesting, but apart from really delicious food we had an opportunity to talk about different chinese cuisines, see old photographs and maps of the same streets we walked on. It was a really immersive experience! Li was a wonderful guide and I would recommend booking a tour with him, not just food, but any kind, at any time! and certainly keep his contacts for our future adventure to come.

5.00Went on the Breakfast Tour this morning with my husband, son and 2 of our son’s college friends. We all loved the tour! Food was amazing as was our guide, Rachel. She explained the food we were eating and also the area we were walking through. We really enjoyed talking with Rachel (her English is exceptional) while we ate and walked. Highly recommend this tour and guide for anyone new to Shanghai or not new and you want to experience a local view of morning in the city.

5.00Li was a knowledgeable, gregarious, and entertaining guide. His knowledge of the food and culture in Shanghai made this tour a great experience. I had never eaten any Chinese breakfast foods, so I didn’t know what to expect. My wife and I were blown away with how great the food was. I highly recommend this tour!

5.00My first time to China and to experience a local breakfast estafette. Love it very much especially Mr Li our guide was very welcoming, pleasant, informative and has such a positive energy. He speaks perfect and fluent english too. If it weren't for him, this tour wouldn't have been that interesting. I love the local Shanghai breakfast he introduced us the best out of the other local food in other cities I had tasted before. I think it is a must do itinerary if you come to Shanghai. If you're small eater like me, you don't want to have big breakfast prior to the tour so you will enjoy more without being extremely full.

5.00We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Paul was amazing, showing us a much more authentic Shanghai food experience than we were able to find on our own as well as giving us a great tour of the area. Even our picky 5 year old managed to enjoy it! Highly recommended.

5.00What an amazing tour! Christina, our guide, was friendly and knowledgable. A real foodie, she guided us round some excellent food places. We had scallion pancakes, dumplings, noodles and more. Brilliant!
