Frederic was a great guide for our group of 4 visiting from Australia/UK. He was very entertaining and full of interesting anecdotes about Montreal and its history. This was a “Downtown and Old Montreal Walking Tour” for 3 hours and it was certainly worthwhile. We got a real feel for Montreal as a city now (how the underground walkways work, how the current city developed) as well as the expected historical commentary. He also showed us some unexpected coffee and dining options that we would probably not come across ourselves through guidebooks/internet searches. Definitely worth booking for a Montreal trip to really understand the city and not just its older history. The city is hilly though, and the street surfaces a bit uneven, so you need to be reasonably fit and agile to do the tour.

We had eight people in our group ages 3 to 65. Mathieu gave an educational tour that was also a lot of fun. Highly recommend!

A great way of seeing downtown and old Montreal. Without this tour we would have missed so much about the history life and diversity in this wonderful city. Frederic our guide was very helpful and interesting. Would highly recommend

The Tour was amazing!! Our guide Sebastien has shown us a lot of the city, its architecture and the meaning/backgrounds of the monuments/statues in the city. He was friendly and pleasant company. I would recommend him to anyone!!

Our guide, Pierre, was absolutely outstanding. Extraordinary depth of knowledge; very personable and engaging; entertaining; and very aware of the group’s individuality. He led the group like his protected flock and kept on point and on time. All questions were answered with ease and his recommendations were spot on.
