What is so special in CABO PULMO?
Cabo Pulmo is a small village that sits at the center of one of the most remarkable national parks in the world.
The National Marine Park of Cabo Pulmo is home to the only living coral reef in the Sea of Cortez and has the largest variety of species of underwater life in the entire Los Cabos area.
Located approximately 60 miles north of Cabo San Lucas and a little bit under 2 hours from San Jose del Cabo.
This isn't just a tour, it's a journey like no other. From the moment we set off, the entire two-hour drive becomes part of the adventure, with ocean views unfolding before you, turning every mile into a scene worth remembering.
Our first stop in the National Park of Cabo Pulmo is at Playa El Arbolito. With its crystal-clear water, this private secluded beach is known to be one of the absolute best places for snorkeling and swimming in Baja California Sur.

There are palapas where you can rest in the shade and enjoy the peace and beauty of the landscape. Enjoy a nice shower in their outside restroom! Getting hungry? We have a few options we can stop at for delicious authentic mexican food. As Cabo Pulmo is known to be a fishing town, we always suggest their famous fish tacos! As we journey back from Cabo Pulmo, we'll make special stops at stunning cliffside vantage points, where you and your group can capture unforgettable moments with the Sea of Cortez stretching behind you.

5.00Jason picked us up and gave us an incredible private tour of the Baja on the way to Cabo Pulmo. (It was only the two of us.) Jason was an extraordinary host--helpful, knowledgeable, engaging. The Pulmo snorkeling was one of the two best activities we did during our weeklong stay in Cabo San Lucas.

5.00Jason was the best guide! A local now, but is very well traveled and knowledge. Also and excellent snorkeling companion, we saw so much gorgeous sea life in a beautiful and secluded spot. On the way back he took us for the best sushi of our lives! We would highly recommend this tour!

5.00The snorkeling was phenomenal! You do have awile on a bumpy dirt road, but Jason has an excellent vehicle and is a great driver and a super fun guide overall!

5.00Although we have traveled to Cabo on many occasions, we have never visited the Cabo Pulmo national park that Jacques Cousteau referred to as the aquarium of the world. The delay in visiting this gem is because getting there is quite difficult and involves many miles over uneven dirt roads. We knew the only way to see this place was to hire a qualified guide. We found Jason from Beyond Reality Private tours on this app. What an incredible find. Jason has lived in Cabo for six years and is not only familiar with the area, he has become part of the community. Jason picked us up in a well equipped 4 x 4 truck that made traveling the very bumpy and winding dirt roads as comfortable as possible. Don’t be discouraged by the rough condition of the roads, however, because the views from the road are spectacular. We were awed by the views of crashing waves and golden sand beaches below us and charmed by the wildlife we encountered on the road. Wild donkeys and horses and domesticated cattle roamed freely in the road and seemed to recognize Jason when he stopped and they sauntered over for and handful of food. Jason has a free spirited love of life and all things living. The perfect mindset to help traveling professionals unwind and even reconsider. The travel to and from Cabo Pulmo was magical, but couldn’t eclipse the beauty of the national park both above and below the water. Jason set us up with chairs, umbrellas, snacks and drinks which we enjoyed in between snorkeling sessions and after we were done. The snorkeling was epic. The area is enormous and the fish abundant. We saw large schools of countless fish and beautiful coral reefs. I even found a large shark resting under a reef ledge. Shockingly, the park was nearly empty and we had the entire bay which encompasses the national park almost completely to ourselves. I cannot recommend Cabo Pulma national park or Jason Jackson and Beyond Reality Private Tours enough! We will be back!

5.00Jason’s adventure trips are fun and well organized. We went to Cabo Pulmo with my wife, our daughter and her partner. As a local, Jason knows the area and he’s fun to be around. He’s funny and kind and safety conscious. He makes great tour leader. Highly recommend.
