Enjoy Dunedin on a private tour, tailored exclusively for your group of up to six passengers. A knowledgeable driver-guide will show you the city’s best spots in the comfort of a spacious van, giving you the flexibility to spend as much time as you like at each stop.

Take a scenic drive through Dunedin and along the Otago Peninsula, soaking in some of the region’s most breathtaking views. Your tour includes a stop at the Royal Albatross Centre (about 1 hour), home to the world’s only mainland colony of Royal Albatross. Here, you can enjoy lunch, explore the visitor centre, or step outside to see these magnificent seabirds in flight — and maybe spot nearby seals!
On the return journey via Portobello Road along the harbour, keep an eye out for wading birds. With this tour, you have the freedom to create a truly memorable experience, customised to suit your group’s interests.

5.00Asta, our guide, is an immigrant to NZ from the Baltic with her husband from Italy. They have 2 teenage boys and have lived in Dunedin for about 20 years. She is well informed about the culture, social mores and economy. She is also very approachable and friendly. We loved her and are grateful.

5.00We had an amazing day with Asta driving us around this beautiful city and region. She was very knowledgable about the area which really helped us understand the culture and geology of the area. We were able to customize the trip to see the things that most interested us, including the amazing Botanic Gardens, the railway station, the Otago Peninsula, and the Worlds Steepest Street, which 5/6 of us walked! We stopped for lunch in town and it was easy to communicate with her when our lunch took a little longer than expected. Highly Recommend!

5.00We did this tour for cruise ship excursion. Varied stops which was nice. Very enjoyable even though albatross didn’t cooperate due to low winds! Astra was a very pleasant enjoyable guide, very receptive to how we wanted to structure our day. Clean comfortable vehicle

5.00The areas we went to were amazing and the views were so great. Got to see a great amount of wildlife and some really good photo spots. Our guide was Asta she was amazing and just perfect for this tour. So much knowledge and she made the tour that much better. I recommend the tour and highly recommend Asta as your guide.

5.00We had a fabulous day of touring Dunedin. Our guide, Asta, was very knowledgeable of the area and showed us all of the sites including the Albatross rookery and OPERA penguin conservation center. Of course, we saw all of the famous sites like the botanical garden, the railroad station and the steepest street in the world. Asta organized our tour in a very efficient manner that enabled us to see everything in a short period of time. Her van was very comfortable and equipped with a speaker system that enabled everyone to hear her informative commentary. To top it off, she is very charming. We could not have asked for a better one day visit to Dunedin.
