Giusy (Josephine) was an amazing tour guide!!! She did an excellent job going over the history of Pompeii and Herculaneum. She got us safely to both sites and made it so easy and even gave us instructions on how to get back to our Airbnb. Her tour is by far the best we’ve had in Italy. Her love of history shines through, and she was even able to keep our 3 teens engaged which is hard to do. I highly recommend her tour and can’t say enough good things about it. Our family will forever treasure the time spent at Pompeii and Herculaneum because she made it so special.

Our tour was nothing less than amazing! Romolo was so great. He not only had vast amounts of knowledge, he was fun, kind, engaging, and very passionate about his Pompeii and Herculaneum. What an amazing day spent with a very knowledgeable guide! Pompeii and Herculaneum were filled with so much history and artifacts. We stopped between sites at a great spot for lunch. Would recommend this to anyone! Josephine was our guide and we thought she was GREAT!

This was a fantastic tour, if you love the history of Pompeii and Herculaneum you will not be disappointment. Our guide, was professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. The private tour was the cherry on top!

Our visit to that ancient civilization was excellent. Our guide, Paolo from Ciao Tours, has deep knowledge of life in the city, its engineering and inner workings, its art. With him, the ancient cities came to life. It was a wonderful experience. Paolo is very fluent in English and Spanish, and possibly other languages as well. Thank you, Paolo! We will never forget this.

Josephine was an excellent and engaging guide. She was clearly passionate about history and gave us good recommendations and seemed genuinely interested in our group and ensuring we had a great time. She really brought it all to life in a way we would not have achieved by ourselves

Giusy (Josephina/Josie) was absolutely incredible in every way. She suggested an earlier meet up time than I originally requested to ensure our tour wasn't rushed. She is quintilingual and an archeologist that worked at Pompeii during her own studies. She is so in tune with both sites that she recognized when each new piece arrived day-by-day. She was responsive to us, adapted her style seamlessly to us, and knew SO much! We did 6 tours during 2 weeks in Italy and all were good. This was, by far, the best. She even helped us coordinate a private ride back to our base in Salerno when she saw my 71 year old mother-in-law was tired by the end in order to avoid us having to take the trains. We will talk about this tour and Giusy's amazingness for years to come. 6 stars out of 5. No, 10. Trust me, this is worth your money.
