The British Museum is huge but in 2 hours you will have an overview of the most significant objects like, but not limited to, the Rosetta Stone, Ramses II, Double headed serpent, Parthenon Marbles, the Moai from Easter Island, Lewis Chessmen, the Waddesdon Bequest and the Assyrian Lamassu.

I will meet you at Montague Pl, the north entrance of the museum. We will then enter and I will guide you for the next two hours around the museum where I will show the most important artifacts.

5.00Stefania is a highly knowledgeable and generous guide. We had to pause briefly for a break, so she kindly added that time onto the end of the tour, although she could’ve ended it at the designated time. Her background is in art history, so we highly recommend her, especially for tours of the British Museum or similar.

5.00Using a Viator tour guide to navigate and see the best of the best at the British Museum was priceless. Ely’s passion for history, delivery of stories, navigation of the museum and, love for being a guide is very obvious. We were lucky to have her lead our group in a tour today! I would definitely recommend the two hour tour of the British museum and request Ely if you want a memorable experience! Definitely worth the cost of the tour! The pre-trip communications of where to meet and what to expect was a pleasant surprise and made the entire event less stressful.

5.00Absolutely the best money spent! Joe was incredible, his knowledge of history and legends was incredible and he made our visit come alive. He was an absolute gem, I cannot recommend him enough. We learned so much more than expected, I wish we could have kept him all day long!! Absolute star!
