Windsor Castle

We visit the amazing Windsor Castle, the family home to British Kings & Queens for over 1,000 years. The size of the 13 acre Castle is breathtaking, & is the largest & oldest occupied Castle in the world & it is where Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II chose to spend most of her time & called home. You might even time your visit when the new King Charles III is in residence! Look at the flag flying from the Castle’s Round Tower; if it’s the Royal Standard The King will be there too.

We booked the private Windsor tour with Barry, who picked us up at our hotel. Barry was very informative and an excellent tour guide, he even took photos of our group at key locations throughout the day. For lunch, Barry had reserved us a spot at the Boatman restaurant in which the food was delicious! Overall, I would highly recommend Barry and his tour for when you visit London. Will definitely reach out to Barry if we were to come back to London again!

Barry did an excellent job and we were very happy. Due to a State Dinner Windsor castle was closed unexpectedly so Barry was able to shift us to Hampton Court Palace which was just as good. He also drove us by Windsor to see the castle from the outside. He was very knowledgeable and personable. We really enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend him!

Barry provided an outstanding tour experience! We had planned on seeing Windsor castle but due to a state dinner the castle was unexpectedly closed. Barry had an alternate tour ready to go with Hampton Court Palace which was perfect. We really enjoyed seeing the palace and he even added a stop outside Windsor castle so we could see the outside and surrounding village. Barry was highly knowledgeable and very personable. It made for a very good day. Highly recommended!

Barry was so personable, engaging, knowledgeable and entertaining. One of us had been to Windsor three times before but Barry’s tour was the best and most informative BY FAR! He even added a few extra stops and sights to show us along the way. He gets 10 stars on a five point scale. Highly recommended.

This was the perfect way to spend a day! Windsor Castle and the town itself are beautiful, and our guide and driver Barry was very knowledgeable and patient answering our many questions. There is a fair bit of walking but it’s all very manageable with Barrynproviding drop off and pick up at all locales. We had lunch at a lovely restaurant on the Thames and then a stop and stroll at Kensington Palace Gardens before being dropped back at our hotel. All in alll we really enjoyed our day and highly recommend the Windsor Castle Tour with Barry as your guide.

Excellent experience with Barry!! He showed up on time at our place and was very knowledgeable about the English history with the castle, along with explaining sites to and from Windsor. He Was great with my two young kids and kept the tour entertaining. Also drops you back off at your residence after a long but fun day! Highly recommend this tour
