5.00What a special tour today with Nissim. He is extremely knowledgeable and made our tour through Mahane Yehuda Market even more than we anticipated. The delicious food tastings and many stops , coupled with learning about the history of the surrounding neighborhood and its famous residents was extraordinary. In all we would definitely try to engage Nissim again on other tours in Jerusalem. He's charming!

5.00Scheduled this tour as an 80th birthday gift to my foodie mother. Nissim is a wealth of information not just on Machane Yehuda cuisine but Eretz Yisrael, Jerusalem, and the history of the Jewish people worldwide. He set a perfect pace for us with excellent food selections, friendly and engaging conversation, and a comprehensive tour through a Jerusalem landmark. Highly recommend.

5.00Nissim led me on a fantastic tour of the food in Jerusalem. Nissim ensured there was a great variety in the food and also pointed out interesting architecture and landmarks throughout the tour. All the food was delicious and had a story to go with it. The tour was curated to be the perfect duration and the order of the tour was carefully thought out! As far as Nissim himself, he was very personable and hospitable. He was very kind, answered all of my questions, and had a genuine interest in what he was talking about. I would recommend this tour for anyone looking to experience Israel’s tasty dishes!

5.00Fantastic evening spent, tour the market with Nissim. He started with a brief description of the tour, a shot of the local liquor and off we went. We tasted many items and they were all very delicious. It was fun trying all the different foods from many different cultures. I would recommend this tour for a fun and tasty evening.

5.00We had a brilliant time! We were able to visit little restaurants in the market that we would’ve never been able to find on our own. Best hummus, falafel, and pita ever- literally- and Nissim was very friendly, well-informed, and interesting. Highly recommend it! My hubby and I do gastronomy tours whenever we travel- best way to learn a city (after running).
