City Palace of Udaipur
Udaipur City Palace is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Maharana Udai Singh stated building this palace in 1559 and it was completed in 18th century by his successors. The stunning palace stands with proud on the banks of gorgeous Lake Pichola. One major portion of the complex is still own by the present king of Udaipur, other parts are converted in to palace hotels & historic museum which is open for all tourists. The City Palace Museum displays the belongings of kings like attire and weapons etc which showcase the royal lifestyle of Udaipur rulers. There you can also visit a beautiful Crystal Gallery showcasing all furniture and utensils made up of glass. The palace is opens at 9:00 am & closes at 4:30 pm.
Jagdish Temple
Shree Jagdish Temple is a world renowned temple of Lord Vishnu. This three stories and 79 feet high temple was built by Maharana Jagat Singhji in 1651 with a costing of more than 1.5 million rupees. It is owned and managed by the royal family of Udaipur. In the complex the main Jagdish temple is located in the centre surrounded by four smaller temples of Lord Ganesha, Sun God, Goddess Shakti and Lord Shiva. It has 32 steps and 50 pillars, really a brilliant piece of Indian architecture. Every year thousands of devotee came witness this amazing temple.

5.00Our family of 6 toured Rajasthan in December 2025. We hired Anoop Khan to be our guide for the city of Udaipur. He was an excellent choice! Not only was he understanding of my elderly parents needs but was also accommodating of all of my kids curious questions. He is very knowledgeable and helped us cover as many places as possible in the short time we had in the city. Highly recommend him!

5.00An amazing half day with Anoop bhai. I was short of time and only had half a day to experience the beauty of Udaipur, Anoop bhai was kind enough to offer a ride on his motorbike across all the various spots so that we make the most of the time we had.He is very passionate about the city and its rich history and has various licences and certifications to justify this. He also knows the right spots for photographs, tea, lunch, shopping etc, just ask and you shall know. Highly recommend him for a truly personal experience. Would do longer tours with him when I'm back again in the future.

5.00We took a guided Udaipur tour with Anoop, and it was simply incredible. Anoop was a phenomenal guide who explained every critical detail and expertly navigated us through the sites. The day was perfectly planned and curated to maximize our time. We learned so much from his tips and facts on history, rituals, and local culture. This was one of the best guided tour experiences we've ever had. I highly and unequivocally recommend Anoop.

5.00We had an absolutely outstanding experience with our guide Anoop in Udaipur. His knowledge of the city, its history, culture, and hidden stories is truly remarkable. On top of that, he is funny, engaging, and incredibly enthusiastic — the perfect combination for a memorable tour. He guided us through the city with so much energy and genuine passion, showing us not only the main highlights but also small, hidden places we would have never discovered on our own. Every moment felt thoughtful, well-curated, and delivered with a personal touch. We were genuinely impressed and completely delighted with the entire tour. It was one of the best experiences of our trip, and we cannot recommend him highly enough. If you’re visiting Udaipur, make sure to book a tour with him — you won’t be disappointed!

5.00If you are visiting Udaipur and Kumbhalgarh, you must book Anoop! He was our guide for two incredible days, and he was hands-down our favorite guide during our entire trip to India. Anoop is incredibly knowledgeable (he will explain everything you want to know about the culture and history of rajasthan), and so personable. He became quick friends with our driver (and pretty much everyone around him). Unlike other tour guides, anoop never tried to pressure us to buy souvenirs. He never even took us to a gift shop! We asked him to take us to a jeweler in udaipur (since it’s known for silver) and we had the BEST experience there. The service and quality were immaculate. We completely trust anoop and his recommendations! Please please PLEASE! Book anoop the next time you visit udaipur or kumbhalgarh fort!

5.00Best guide ever! He gave amazing detail during our tour and made it fun as well. Even after the tour, I requested a photo of an artifact that I found fascinating and he went back to take the photo and sent it to me swiftly!

5.00We booked a TukTuk tour of Udaipur through another experience platform and our host arranged for Anoop to be our guide. Anoop arrived on time at our hotel and was very welcoming, which made us feel at ease immediately. He explained the itinerary for our tour and we asked for adjustments to be made (which made via a call to our experience host). Anoop then spoke with our booking host and the tour was off. We really enjoyed our tour with him. He has a fantastic sense of humour and is very articulated and knowledgeable about so much in Udaipur and India. He made learning about Udaipur history, the local plants and animals, festivals and customs, an easy and fun experience. He certainly knows his stuff. 😊😊 We also asked him if he knew of a good local tailor to get a skirt shortened. He took us to someone he knew and trusted and after dropping it off for adjusting, 30 minutes later after we had toured more of the streets with Anoop, it was done to perfection 👍 Anoop kindly then took us to a hotel roof cafe to give us the best view of the Lake Palace and the lakesides of Udaipur - Very special views and giving us wonderful memories of a beautiful city and surrounding countryside and hills. 👍 If you choose Anoop for your guide, you will be thankful for a wonderful, fun and interesting tour. 😊 Thank you again Anoop 🙏🏼
