Part of the Madeira’s natural park, this course is situated on the very east point of the Island, in Caniçal.
Along the way, you can marvel yourself with the fabulous seascapes of the north and south of the Island. It is impossible to describe the wonderful feeling provided by the contrast between the serenity of south sea and the rough sea of the north.
In this gorgeous but windy zone you can discover and enjoy beautiful samples of unique fauna and flora species. Also there are curious rock formations, resulting of the volcanic origin of the island. Take a moment to appreciate the details.

5.00Marco was our guide in this gorgeous area and he was the absolute best! He was patient while we took lots of pictures, he was kind and polite and he taught us a lot about the vegetation and the geology of the land we were looking at. He also answered lots of questions about Portugal history. He made our day fun and rewarding!

5.00A challenging hike if you‘re a little less than averagely fit like me, but Francisco helped me through it and I made it all the way to the end and on top of the Mountain at the end. What a view, what an experience! Wouldn‘t wanna miss it now. Had some nice conversations with Francisco along the way … he‘s a very friendly and chill guy 😊 10/10 would recommend!

5.00First of all, to the formal: I had already tried to book the tour through some providers, but there was not enough demand (covid time). Since it was approaching the last days of my vacation and I wanted to go there, I did some further research and then wrote to this provider. I briefly described my situation and that I still have to wait for the no or go, but only one day later I still have time for the tour.. that was no problem and I could and had to book here. Service: Punctual, cozy car, free Open WiFi in the car, extra services (various sightseeing points) after the tour for a small amount: unfortunately, but had no time for it anymore. The guide also takes pictures with his smartphone again and again, even on request, and then sends them via WhatsApp and/or Wetransfer. Language: German was not offered, but was not a problem. In my case Richard spoke a very clear and good English. Tour itself: First of all, I recommend every Madeira holidaymaker to explore the Ponta Sao Lourenco. Even after Pico Ruivo and the many Levada Walks, this is a hike where you can see a completely different picture of the island! It was definitely more than worth it and that you can experience the landscape without any time pressure is gift :)
