Escape Santiago for a few hours and discover the Andes foothills on this private hiking experience. After pickup at your accommodation, you’ll drive just 30 minutes to reach scenic trails surrounded by native flora and panoramic views of the city and mountains. Your dedicated guide will tailor the hike to your fitness level and interests as you ascend approximately 500 meters (1,640 feet) and cover 3–5 miles (5–8 km). Along the way, spot local wildlife, learn about the region’s ecosystems, and take in breathtaking landscapes. At the summit, enjoy time to relax and capture photos before descending. To finish, savor a delicious cheese & wine picnic featuring local products. This half-day adventure is perfect for nature lovers who want to experience the Andes without leaving the city for long. Morning and afternoon departures are available if you’d like to catch a sunset over the mountains. *For the group tour, we require a minimum of 3 participants. If we don’t reach this minimum, we’ll contact you in advance to reschedule, choose a different tour, or arrange a full refund.

It was a terrific 4 mile hike as described. The guide asked if we wanted to modify the planned excursion. She was very accommodating. She was fantastic answering our never ending questions and describing Chilean culture, fauna, and flora. We had a wonderful time.

What a great experience to get out of the center of Santiago for part of the day. Our morning hike was fantastic - our guide was wonderful and provided an excellent overall experience. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a small group experience outside of Santiago. The owner/operator of this tour has put a lot into creating a good experience for customers and it shows.

I highly recommend this to anyone with a free block of time! The hike is a great 3-5 mile stretch that goes up and down a few hills. The summit gives a perfect view of Santiago as well as the Andes. You can even see glaciers at certain mountain peaks. The path was relatively quiet and peaceful with the occasional cyclist passing the group.

Great fun and very steep hike. The trail was steep and difficult at times as the sand was slippery. It was a nice hike but would pick a different trail in the future. Our guide was wonderful!
Josephina was an amazing guide! The views were amazing and the hike was fun. Wine and cheese tray at the end was fun.
