Batu Caves
The 30-minute scenic drive ends at the Batu Caves. These natural limestone masses are home to Hindu shrines that house various religious deities. Learn from your guide about the deep Hindu roots of this nation as you make your way up the 272 steps to the golden Lord Murugan. Once you arrive at the top, you’ll head to Cathedral Cave—the largest in the complex. Your guide will offer background on the significance of this space, which houses intricate Hindu shrines
East Coast Batik which established in 1974 is one of the oldest batik and handicrafts centre in Klang Valley. It's located in the Gombak district which is just a throw stone away from the Batu Caves. Visit the gallery and you'd learn that batik is not simply a cloth with an elaborate piece of design. This is the place you need to visit if you are looking forward to enjoy a holistic experience in Malaysian batik and handicrafts.

5.00It was a very good experience. Our tour guide, Mr Arul, picked us up on time at our hotel. He was explaining very well many details about the attractions we visited. He had very good knowledge about it and gave us the information we needed when we were asking about more details. We visited the Batu Caves, they’re really beautiful and we had the privilege to see and take pictures of the big statue restored. We were able to climb the stairs and visit the great caves. Our visit to East Coast Batik was amazing. We could see how the artists make the beautiful arts in silky fabric and the wonderful final results. We went to visit the National Mosque (Masjid Negara), but we weren’t able to enter because was the prayer hour, we just took pictures from outside. Mr Arul gave us good details about this important attraction. We also went to visit the beautiful Chinese Thean Hou Temple and could even see a bride and a groom! Mr Arul explained that the couples like to go there to celebrate their weddings, that was really nice! We went to visit Little India and other important historical buildings from the time of the British colonization. The last point we visited was The River of Life, where the Kuala Lumpur city received its name. Mr Arul explained more details about this attraction and recommended that we should visit this place at night. It was a beautiful view. Our tour included Chinatown, but we didn’t need to go there, because we already visited this place. We recommend this tour and the tour guide, Mr Arul. He is very friendly and respectful and gives great information about other tours and visits that you can do in this beautiful city and country. We really enjoyed our time in KL and would love to come back to visit it again.

5.00We really enjoyed our tour with Arul to the Batu Caves! He is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly educated in his craft. We learned so much — from the story of the River of Life to the history of the Petronas Twin Towers — and he pointed out and explained the architecture around the city along the way. Despite the rain, we still got to see everything outlined in the tour. Arul provided umbrellas and bottled water and always pulled up as close as possible to the sights so we didn’t have to be out in the rain for long. He was an amazing guide, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you Arul

5.00Nantha was a wonderful guide. We were all impressed with his knowledge of KL and that’s exactly what we hoped for. He was able to get us very close to all of our stops - he obviously is an expert in not only KL; but the best and most efficient way to get around.

5.00Started the tour at 08:30 in the morning, Arul our guide picked us from the hotel. Itinerary: Batu Caves - National Mosque (Masjid Negar ) - Thean Hou Temple - Chinatown- central market . Everything was very well organised What I really enjoyed is that Arul is like a library of information. He knows Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia very well, history, culture mix, economics, places to visit . He offered us precious details about lots of things, it is every tourist’s dream come true.
