We start our tour in the morning and visit the Myrtos beach, which is well known for the buest waters, the golden sun, and the wondreful view from the top. We will provide you beach towels free of charge.
Our next destination is the wonderfull cave of the numph Melissani and ancient Greek God Panas. Melissani lake cave has been in kefalonia since mythical times, and first explored in 1951. An earthquake created an opening in the roof, of the lake cave, and that roof allows the limited entrance to the Sun rays and creates an extraordinary scene of blue and turquoise waters.
We will visit the interior of the lake cave by boat , and we will also see the small island where our ancestors, held ceremonies dedicated to God Panas and the nymphs.
On our way back we can stop in Agia Efimia, a picturusque fishing village for a lunch, and return back in Argostoli full of beautifull memories.

Myrtos Beach
Myrtos beach , the most beautiful beach on the island and one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, with snow white sand, a paradise on earth is protected by high rocks while the sea offers sublime combinations with colours ranging from blue green to deep blue. From Assos is about 20 minutes road untill Myrtos beach.
Assos
Assos is built amphitheatrically around the peninsula, which is surrounded by lush areas. The village retains its authentic traditional Ionian architecture and rich greenery of tall pines and cypress trees meets the blue waters of the Ionian sea, composing an idyllic landscape that only nature could create. From Agia Efimia to Assos is about 20 minutes ride .

5.00Very nice day, caves were interesting and the scenic views were amazing. Great lunch, stopped at a deli for some goodies. Our driver Kostus was awesome. The fact there were no crowds made it even better.

5.00Great experience! We visited the cave of Drogarati, the Melissani lake and finally we had a swim in the wonderful beach of Myrtos 😍... a paradise of a blue color never seen before! Konstantinos, our guide and driver, was very professional, nice and accompanied us during this tour telling us about the real Kefalonia that only a local can know so well ☺️ I recommend this tour to everyone! Also great for those who stop in Kefalonia with the cruise, just like us!

5.00Bouchra was a great guide and safe driver! She informed us all along the way about local scenery, culture and places we visited. Very friendly and was frequently checking that the tour was enjoyable for us! I left my phone behind st one of the stops, Bouchra happily went back and we found it! Bouchra was flexible and allowed us to change the itinerary somewhat to suit us. I would highly recommend Bouchra for your next tour guide/driver 👋.

5.00We had an amazing time with Bouchra , our driver. We saw so many sights , could swim when and where we wanted. Our itinerary was flexible and nothing was too much trouble for her. The roads were sometimes narrow and windy and we were fortunate to have an excellent driver.

5.00We had Konstantinos as our tour guide and he was fantastic!! We are a family of 6, all adults, and he catered to everything we wanted to do. If you’re cruise passengers this tour is perfect as you don’t have the crowds of all the other cruisers and don’t have to wait for others. We had our own van which had A/C. We booked all our tours privately (not with the cruise line) and saved hundreds of dollars doing so! Konstantinos met us right off the boat. The communication was outstanding!

5.00Not sure how to start this review other than to say I can't find a fault with our tour and it's not often this can be said. We arranged with our driver to be collected from our hotel at around 8:30 am Bouchra was there just after 8:30 but dropped me a message to say that she was slightly delayed. After the initial introduction, Bouchra asked us what was and wasn't important to see on the day (wine tasting wasn't something we wanted to do) so that was quickly removed from the tour. Then we left it up to Bouchra her local knowledge and excellent navigation skills provided us with a lifetime of fanatic family memories, there was plenty of scenic photo stops, different villages, beaches and caves, even caves that are not normal tourists stops but are beautiful in there own way. We couldn't recommend Bouchra and this tour enough.

5.00Bouchra went above and beyond to show us the rare hidden treasures of her beloved Kefalonia. We were blessed to have met her and saved ourselves the traditional stand-in-line-and-wait style of tourist experience. We insisted on Melissani Lake but quickly learned our lesson. Once we put our trust in her, she was able to make unique and beautiful. Along with the lovely recommendation for the yummiest restaurant in Asos, she also brought us to a boutique winery (Vassilaki Estate) for tasting traditional products, which is a MUST experience for all gourmets and wine lovers. The hospitality and deep knowledge of the locals cannot be competed with through paint-by-numbers day tours. Thank you Bouchra for making for our unique experience! Special thanks to and Nicoletta (of Vassilaki Estates)for helping us find the best oregano and local wine on the island. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
