You will discover the old town of Parma and its unexpected and eye-catching glimpses of extraordinary artistic beauty and the most authentic Parmesan and Italian food from our favorite vendors, feeding locals for generations. We will visit a Traditional Prosciutteria, a Fresh Pasta Shop or a Grocery Store, a Tradional Bistrò, an Old Patisserie, a Sandwich Shop and an Artisanal Gelato Shop.

5.00Lisa was a fantastic guide! We opted to pay for tastings as we went so that we could explore more, and she recommended different things that really enhanced the experience. My chef husband had the best time exploring well loved ingredients and some brand new dishes. I’ve actually already recommended this tour to another friend who will be in town next week. 5.00This private tour, led by Erica, was delightful. Erica has a good rapport with each of the shops and restaurants; it felt like we were getting the royal treatment. As a guide, Erica was very gracious and personable. She explained the sourcing and cultivation of the foods we sampled, always with a great sense of humor and in English that was impeccable. She even gave us suggestions of places to see and gain a better sense of Parma.
