Departing near Opunohu Bay, we'll leisurely sail along Moorea's North coast, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. We'll make several stops for snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, where you'll encounter mesmerizing wildlife and explore traditional Tikis. Swim alongside graceful blacktip sharks & elegant stingrays, and an array of colorful tropical fish in a coral garden. Keep your eyes peeled, as sightings of sea turtles and dolphins are not uncommon!

After your aquatic adventures, indulge in a delightful selection of fresh local fruits and cocktails/mocktails served onboard.

This was a fantastic experience for our family of 4. We were able to have the pleasure to honored Taboo 4 years ago and the experience was even better this time around. The views are incredible, the snorkeling was amazing. We were able to see rays, black tip sharks, sea turtles and even dolphins in just 4 hours. We appreciate Taboo over the other options due to our desire to get away from the crowds. Thank you so much for creating memories for our family!

Perfect morning spent seeing the beautiful reefs of Moorea. Our guide Flo was highly knowledgeable and spoke great English and was wonderful with our daughter. Very easy to communicate with the tour operator, who gave us a ride to the boat. We have done snorkel trips in Hawaii and Caribbean and this was the best. The reefs are so vibrant and healthy. And you are nearly guaranteed to see rays and sharks too. Wonderful morning spent on a wonderful boat with wonderful people. Thank you!

Great experience with an excellent crew. Very recommended. Suggest you take your own cooler if you want alcoholic drinks.

This was our second time aboard Taboo, and it did not disappoint, even in the rain! Captain Leo and Flo did an amazing job and are full of local facts and knowledge. An amazing experience that shouldn’t be missed during your stay on Moorea!

This trip was on a catermaran which due to the wind in the morning was threatened not to go ahead as they are apparently affected more by the wind but fortunately did. There were a number of snorkelling stops which the guides negotiated to avoid crowded areas and give us the best possible experience. The guides were passionate about the environment and very knowledgeable. Overall we had a fantastic day and even though it was only half a day managed to fit in a lot. The colours of the ocean were fabulous and crystal clear, we had a really enjoyable day.

Excellent experience. Our captain and guide were both friendly l and knowledgeable about the island and sea life. We got to snorkel in three unique spots and each held its own surprises. If you want to see Moorea from the water there is simply no better way.

We had Max as our captain and Mai as our guide for our half day catamaran tour. They were both amazing! At the beginning, they asked us what we’d like to see and did their best to show us every single thing on our list. Mai took us to the coolest coral reef and pointed out nurse sharks, fish, rays, turtles and so much more. He constantly checked to see if we were okay and needed to slow down or turn around if cold. It was amazing! They gave us fresh fruits, juices, Mai tai’s, and even coordinated taxi to and from the boat to our hotel. They shared information about the local culture and the island. Cannot recommend this experience enough!!

We had the most amazing snorkeling in gorgeous coral with hundred of fish. The boat is really comfortable and the captain and his crew mate were very knowledgeable and fun and helpful. They made us drinks and served us a delicious fruit platter. It was the highlight of our nine day trip and well worth the money to book a private trip. We got exactly the experience we wanted. They tailored the trip to our age and desires. I highly recommend them. The other snorkeling tours have much less comfortable boats and all go to the same crowded places. This trip was wonderful!
