Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle is the oldest continually inhabited castle and one that has never been successfully conquered. It is the place where he Queen likes to spend her weekends. Inside the imposing walls are large courtyards and from the walls you have a great view over Windsor and beyond. The real treasures are inside of course and you will see more paintings, weapons, works of art and gold leaf than you could imagine in the state and semi-state rooms. Parts of it are surprisingly cosy but their are epic banquet halls and audience chambers too. You can also get a better look at the the Guardsmen here than at Buckingham Palace.
St. George's Chapel
Visit a chapel where The Queen worships, where Harry and Meghan were married and which is the resting place for King Henry VIII and many others. In many ways, the highlight of the castle itself.

5.00My favorite part of this tour was my guide Kevin. Having done the Windsor, Stonehenge, Bath tour (on a Sunday) didn’t get me in to the chapel. This tour is great for those who want to come back for a day in Windsor. Kevin provides detailed history from the beginning of the tour out of London and throughout the day.

5.00Our tour guide Kevin was OUTSTANDING! First off, it felt like we met up with an old friend which made it instant fun! Kevin had so many interesting facts about London and England that any tourist would want to know! His knowledge of Windsor Castle, Park and Old Town was interesting and fun! We wanted to take Kevin everywhere with us, and we will certainly hunt him down the next time we are in England! Thank you Kevin!!
