You can choose between a street food–focused option with Michelin highlights or a more Michelin-centered dining experience.

Your local food guide meets you at your hotel or a designated meeting point and provides a short introduction to the experience. Special requests can be shared at the beginning and will be accommodated if possible. This tour offers two options to suit different preferences: - STREET FOOD + MICHELIN: A well-balanced option combining Hanoi’s iconic street food with selected restaurants listed in the MICHELIN Guide, alongside cultural exploration on foot. - MICHELIN-FOCUSED DINING: A more dining-centered option featuring multiple restaurants listed in the MICHELIN Guide, offering a refined culinary journey. Both options are led by a knowledgeable local food guide and include cultural insights, short walks between stops, and flexible pacing depending on the chosen experience.
Old Quarter
After the introduction, the tour continues with a walking exploration of Hanoi’s neighborhoods, where food experiences are naturally combined with local culture and everyday life. For the Street Food + Michelin option, you will visit trusted local eateries to sample Hanoi’s signature street food, with one or two MICHELIN Guide–listed restaurant stops included as highlights. These Michelin stops create contrast, showing how familiar local flavors are presented at a more refined level. For the Michelin-Focused Dining option, the experience places a stronger emphasis on restaurants listed in the MICHELIN Guide, while still maintaining a balanced flow of tasting stops and cultural exploration. For both options, your guide shares stories about ingredients, cooking traditions, and the city’s history during short walks between stops.

5.00My wife and I took the Hanoi Street Food with Michelin highlights private tour in the Old Quarter with Minh and had an outstanding experience! It was our first night in Vietnam which made it the perfect introduction to the local food and culture. Minh is an exceptional guide who is extremely passionate about the amazing food in Hanoi, as well as his country and offers a great insight into the local culture. We went to places (literally in back alleys) and ate foods that we never would have found our tried on our own. All of the food was delicious and Minh knows these places very well, so they are clean and he even took extra precautions to safeguard the cleanliness. I could not recommend this exceptional tour any more highly!

5.00We now have the confidence to eat Hanoi Street Food! Our guide Kenny led a wonderful tour sharing stories while eating our way through Old Hanoi. My wife and I met two lovely girls from Netherlands making our group a size of four. We couldn’t eat all the food that was served, ensure you come hungry. What a great way to start our three week trip to Vietnam. This tour is a must!!

5.00Sandy was great. Taught us a lot about the different foods and explained each dish to us. I chose to eat some snails as one of my dishes and it was delicious. layers of flavor. Very different from any escargot that I have eaten. Her spoke English well so she was able to answer all the question we had with ease. Such a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone. She accommodates the adventure according to your preferences.
