This 5-hour private day tour to Herrenchiemsee from Munich will take you to Lake Chiemsee, where you can enjoy a beautiful boat ride to the Herrenchiemsee Island. From there you'll be taking a horse carriage ride to the castle where you will get a tour trough the castle in English. After the tour you will have the chance to go to the museum. Afterwards a lunch table will be reserved for you. After Lunch you'll take the boat to the next Island (Frauenchiemsee) and after some time there, the boat takes you back to the mainland where you'll have some time for a coffee break before heading back to Munich.

5.00This was a phenomenal tour, perhaps the best of our trip. The history of the castle is quite interesting and the scenery is spectacular. Our guide and driver, Philip, was excellent and got us to the ferry before the huge crowds arrived. I highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed.

5.00This was a great experience and a fantastic day. We got picked up at 9 from our hotel, had a nice drive out and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the palace. The service was great and we enjoyed our driver’s company and conversation.
This was an excellent tour. You traveled across the lake to an island to see the castle.

5.00The tour guide was the most memorable, Lars Seesemann (Concierge Service Seesemann). He knew his history and could answer all our questions. The tour was excellent, but if you can request Lars, do so.
