Your private driver will be waiting to pick you up near cruise port and take you Horseback riding on the beach and La Bufadora for a safe, flexible afternoon.

Our horseback ride is on a calm beach and estuary outside of town, or in the hills to Echo Canyon, not on the dusty hills or crowded, dirty city beach of other providers.

Our horses are calm. Echo canyon ride features a bilingual riding guide and short riding lesson. The beach ride features local guide.

Our friendly, bilingual guides give you a chance to ask questions about local life and learn about Ensenada, Mexico. They can accompany you for negotiating prices in the flea market upon request.

Child seats for safety at no charge upon request.

And you can ask for a stop for tacos, pictures, a mini-mart or a road side vendor, or drop off at a pharmacy.

Mountain Ride at Echo Canyon : Best for new riders and kids: saddled guide, platform to mount horse, fun echo canyon, route is loop, no repeat scenery!
Duration: 5 hours: The ride and preparation take a bit longer and an extra 30 minutes of transportation.
Las Candas Adventure Park : This Ride is at Las Canadas in Echo Canyon Nature reserve instead of on Public Beach.
Horseback Riding Instructions: This ride has better instruction on Horseback Riding, a mounted guide, is best for new, young, low-mobility riders.

    We had a fantastic experience! Our driver Armando was the best! We got to experience horseback riding on the beach, visited the Bufadora which is an incredible natural wonder followed by a couples massage! And returned to the cruise ship in plenty of time. We would highly recommend this excursion to everyone!

    The horseback riding was a complete disappointment—thankfully, the rest of the excursion made up for it. Our driver, Juan Carlos, was incredible—safe, knowledgeable, and had a spotless car. The horseback ride itself was heartbreaking. The horses were in terrible condition, the tack was held together with baling twine, and the saddles were barely functional. A 12-year-old had to follow us just to keep one horse moving. It was a self-guided ride through a trash-covered path, and the horses could barely manage a slow walk. After that disaster, Juan Carlos took us to La Bufadora, where the market was fun but overwhelming due to aggressive vendors. We then enjoyed amazing tacos at a local spot and fresh churros from a bakery. The day ended with an absolutely incredible massage—the best I’ve ever had. Bottom line: DO NOT book this for horseback riding. Instead, hire a private driver (Juan Carlos was amazing!) and book a separate massage. That’s where your money is best spent!

    Our taxi driver was great. Our horse guide knew little English, but was still super helpful and friendly. They each took pictures for us and were very helpful overall.

    We were assigned a private taxi driver, Wiley, who spent a whole day with us. We visited the Horse Riding place, La Bufadura and the Massage shop and got back to the Cruise Village within 6 hours. Timeline: 9:15am off-board; 9:30am met the driver outside Cruise Village; 10-11am Horse Riding; 11:30am La Bufadora; 1:15pm left La Bufadora; 1:45-2:45pm Massage; 3:15pm drop-off in Cruise Village.
