Our half-day wine tour will take you on a journey through centuries of vineyards of Hvar, with your expert local guide bringing the wines to life and unraveling Hvar wine story. Ok, maybe we cannot promise you that you will become a sommelier but we can promise you that you will have a great wine experience.

We will start our journey in Hvar and start with a drive through the island inland. We will pass through old villages Brusje and Velo Grablje and through many lavender fields. Stop, breathe, enjoy. Put stress in distress. Continuing this stress-free sightseeing we come towards di Ager (Hora) – protected field, one of Greek culture masterpieces which remained almost intact during a period of 2400 years. The best part begins in Jelsa, where specially chosen winery are waiting for you. We are taking you back to the roots. To pure living tradition – Duboković winery. Awarded red wines, cult Croatian wine Medvid, Before 6009 years, 2718 hours of sun in a bottle, cheese, bread – all that in an intimate candle lit cellar of winemakers family house – pure heaven or to say wine heaven. After wine tasting we'll head to an old, abandoned village Malo Grablje for a fabulous traditional 3 course lunch or dinner paired with Mr. Berti’s wine, a real treat. We recommend Peka – traditional way of preparing dishes (choose between veal, lamb or octopus) under the iron bell. Unwind Dalmatian style in amazing setting of this quiet village and enjoy a view on surrounding cliffs and beautiful nature.

Tea was a wonderful guide who put the focus of the tour on traditional Hvar as opposed to commercial. The wine tasting was fantastic and local but the quality was on a global scale. Lunch was in the most stunning setting and it was our first opportunity to try Peka, which we cannot recommend enough. Everything about both experiences exceeded expectations. As a tour guide, Tea was incredible. She posses all the information you’d hope a tour guide would and she is very intelligent and engaging. She was able to help us understand the complex history of politics and people and how that history manifests itself today. She was honest, passionate to teach, and curious to learn - I have no doubt her tours will only continue to surpass people’s expectations.

The scenery is amazing. Wine great. Dinner fantastic. Tea and Danny superb!!! Was not sure about the experience however turned out to be a highlight of our vacation!!!
