Meet your private guide and start the day exactly like a local. We kick off in the vibrant Karakoy district with a lavish, traditional Turkish breakfast. You will savor classics like menemen (Turkish scrambled eggs with tomatoes and peppers), sucuklu omelet (spicy beef sausage), and decadent kaymak (clotted cream) drenched in local honey.

Next, we stroll through the historical Tophane neighborhood. We will pause at a chic, modern coffee house for a perfectly brewed cup of Turkish coffee, paired with a tasting of some of the absolute freshest, highest-quality baklava Istanbul has to offer.

5.00The food related part was of nice and fun, but it was much more than a "food" tour. Our guide Derya was very knowledgeable and warm, and was a great source of knowledge and insight on local history, sights and culture.

If you want to get off the beaten path, stray away from the tourist traps, and experience the real foods of Istanbul, then please book this tour with Derya and Furkan! They adjust the tour to your desires and needs - but will at the same time challenge you with new experiences, new tastes, and a real understanding of the city.

5.00It was our first time in Istanbul. The food tour with Furkan was an abolute highlight of our 3 days in Turkey! The tour was a wonderful introduction to Istanbul's rich culinary culture in the Asian and European side. From the start we realise that Furkan will go above and beyond to make the tour unforgettable! He is so knowledgeable and pleasant and kind! Every minute we spend together was precious! We taste the most interesting dishes - even "tribe" as we know it in South Africa...The coffee tasting with the "swinging tray" was a first - in a place where we on our own won't get to...This tour with Furkan as tourguide is a must for every visitor to Istanbul! His wife, Deraya, specially make time for a coffee with us the next day which we appreciate very much. It was good to see the Husband and Wife team together! I highly recommended this tour!

Furkan, our guide is incredibly knowledgeable, very pleasant, and he left us wanting to know more. We give the tour and Furkan 10 out of 10!! We highly recommend you do this if you visit Istanbul!! Loved it!!!

Furkan himself, shared with us the places where he eats, incredible foods and amazing tastes. He couples the tasting experiences with history associated with the food and place. The pace in which you experience everything is perfectly timed and you feel completely safe and comfortable throughout. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to truly experience Istanbul.

The food tour was amazingly done by Derya and I loved everything we ate and her amazing recommendations on the local side of Turkey as well as the tourist locations. There are no words for how above and beyond Derya went throughout our stay in Istanbul. Amazing time spent in an amazing country and my group and I cannot say enough great things about Derya and our trip. Can’t wait to come back!!

5.00Furkan makes you feel very comfortable and safe as he guides you in and around the city. He is knowledgeable, kind, and personable with a great sense of humor and incredibly patient with kids. He also recommended lots of things to do or us to see on our own time. We arranged for two days of private custom tours in Istanbul for 7 people. We enjoyed the chauffeur, the culture, traditions, culinary experience, religious and heritage sites that were in our detailed itinerary. Furkan navigated us around the key places in Istanbul on our first full day and day 2 food testing in the Asian and European sides in Istanbul. The whole family loved the trip. My family and I would not hesitate to recommend this travel company to our family and friends.
