Fish Jacksonville and experience the inshore backwaters of St Johns River which has an abundance of redfish, tarpon, spotted sea trout, flounder and cobia. St Johns River is famed for being the only river to flow north. Jacksonville has all types of fishing in an eye’s view, the beautiful scenery mixed with the thrill of a chance to catch the local inshore favorite. A fishing enthusiast may choose to chase the resident fish, but there is a lot of variety for every angler. All charters are guided by a licensed Captain in a modern inshore boat, they provide fishing rods and reels, and all the tackle you can use, as well as all other necessities including safety equipment.
While visiting Jacksonville, you can experience closely located activities such as a tour through the Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary, Big Talbot Island State Park or the Kingsley Plantation!

5.00Brilliant 4-hour king mackerel fishing today with our grown-up kids!! Ideal for children too!! Easy instructions from Wayne sorted our lines out when we got in the middle and cleaned them for the BBQ later!! It's a very good rate per person!! Look forward to doing it again!!! Maybe another catch next time!! Recommend

5.00I have just had another great day out fishing. The sea was a bit rough, but Wayne, the captain, did his usual; he got us into a great spot, and we were all soon catching fish. I can't recommend this trip enough; even if you are a complete novice, Wayne will soon help and show you what to do. Wayne is one of the best captains I have ever been out with. He really knows his stuff and makes sure you are always amongst the fish.

5.00Have fished with Wayne on the Private Jacksonville four-hour trip; this was the first time with my kids (12 and 14). It was a great afternoon, and Wayne was as good as ever! Everyone caught well, and the kids want to go back (even the one who provided the chum off the back of the boat). Cheers, Wayne!

5.00Really good day on the water yesterday. As a family of 5, we appreciated Wayne's guidance patiently offered according to need. Fishing was good, the boat fast and spacious, and seeing redfish and cobia and also catching plenty of king mackerel was a real bonus. The combination of a good boat and an excellent captain means I can strongly recommend

5.00Captain Wayne is an expert covering all water coarse fishing skills. His way of coaching is calm, relaxed, and very open. No matter what level you are, he can really work with you to improve your fishing skills or inspire you to take up fishing. My experience with Wayne has enabled me to feel more confident when I go fishing and understand how I can improve my fishing skills. 10/10, if you are looking for a water coarse fishing experience, I would highly recommend St. Augustine Fishing Charters.

5.00Fantastic day at sea with Captain Wayne; he helped us catch fish as beginners. Also, we caught plenty of redfish & tarpon but lost a snook. Despite the high wind, everyone caught at least one fish and had a fabulous time! Many thanks to you, Wayne.

5.00Well, what can I say? I couldn’t get out on my boat, so I went on St. Augustine Fishing Charters and had a brilliant day. Captain Wayne was as helpful as always, and I had a good laugh with everyone else on there. I don’t know what boat that Wayne went on, but it couldn’t have been this one, as I and everyone else were made very welcome, and help was available to the newbies of fishing. I would 100% recommend this charter, and the captain certainly knows his stuff; he will try his hardest to get you to catch. Cheers. Wayne

5.00Had a whole day out with Wayne on 'Jacksonville Fishing' and have never sailed with a more helpful, knowledgeable, and experienced captain. The boat has everything you could need, including gear and bait if you've not got your own, and everyone from experienced anglers to beginners is made welcome. Wayne also knows where the fish are and will move to the next spot if things are not happening. Great value from a great day out.

5.00Had a wonderful time on this 1/2 day fishing excursion. Our Captain was informative, funny, and considerate. There were 3 of us (women) who were all novice at fishing. He was patient with us and by the end of the trip, we felt like professionals! Wonderful scenery, smooth waters, and lots of fish! Captain Davy shared fishing stories with us and we laughed a lot! I highly recommend this trip. We will definitely go again with Captain Davy! Such fun!
