5.00We had such a great time during our Kyoto - Nara tour with our wonderful guide, Katsu. He communicated ahead of time to coordinate pick up, arrived promptly, and his car was clean and comfortable, with water bottles and tissue box provided for our comfort. We had a lot of fun chatting and joking with Katsu throughout the day, and had an amazing time (and took great pictures) at Nara, at the Todaiji temple, and later at the Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine. Katsu also made a great effort to find food that suited our dietary needs, and took us to a delightful sushi restaurant. Lastly, at the end of the tour, because I had mentioned that I had cracked my phone's protective screen, he took us to a store where I could buy a replacement. So thoughtful and gracious! I would highly recommend this tour by Katsu, and would absolutely book with him again in the future!

5.00Katsu was an outstanding tour guide who made our Kyoto and Nara adventure truly unforgettable—extremely nice, informative, and funny, he shared fascinating history and local insights while keeping everyone laughing, thoughtfully navigating transportation, suggesting perfect photo spots, and adjusting the pace to suit us perfectly so we could soak in the temples, shrines, and culture stress-free. We highly recommend booking him; he turns sightseeing into a joyful experience with a knowledgeable friend.

5.00Katsu was hands down the absolute best guide we have ever had. Extremely personable and knowledgeable about the history at all the stops he took us to. He was super accommodating to the random stops we asked him to make for us. His normal itenerary was perfect but if you want to add or change anything he will make the swap instantly and make sure it logistically works in the day plan.

5.00Katsi was the best tour guide we've ever had. He asked lots of questions to see what we wanted to see and he customized the pace for us as slower travelers. He was very funny and loved hearing about America. We would highly recommend him and his tours.

5.00My spouse and I had a wonderful time with Katsu as our guide. Riding with him in his car was very pleasant: he was personable, talkative, and friendly from the very beginning of our day. He has a deep expertise and familiarity with the sights that we saw, particularly Fushimi Inari Taisha (the thousand gates). He helped us take photos, and also find crackers at Nara deer park. We appreciated being taken care of by him, a Kyoto local. Would highly, highly recommend Katsu as your guide!

5.00Katsu was an amazing tour guide. He is very knowledgeable of the sites and since this is a private tour there was flexibility for spending more or less time at each stop. The private transportation was very comfortable and Katsu had great food suggestions. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to go to Nara and Fushimi Inari.

5.00Katsu San was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable and well planned itinerary. He also suggested a very good place for lunch to try the local favorites. He was also kind enough to drive us to the Kyoto train station to get our tickets and then dropped us back at our hotel.

5.00We had such an amazing day exploring Kyoto and Nara with Katsu! His car was incredibly comfortable, and he was so kind, accommodating, and easy to spend the day with. Since we only had a limited time in Kyoto, this private tour was the perfect way to see so much in just one day. Katsu planned everything so smoothly and even took us to a local ramen spot for an authentic Japanese experience, it was delicious! We truly can’t recommend this tour enough. If you want a friendly, knowledgeable guide and a relaxing, enjoyable day around Kyoto and Nara, Katsu is the best!
