Excellent introduction to so many elements of this city's history. We learned about the emperors and shoguns who lived and ruled from Kyoto during the time it was the capital of the region and nation. The walking tour enabled us to see close up historic structures, visit inside temples and contemplate shrines. Our guide was excellent at sharing the area's history, pacing our advance to unique places and answering questions. By the end of the walking tour we had visited three very separate regions of the city, connecting by taxi and by foot. So glad we signed up for this.

Ryuki was amazing information and patient! The tour was a beautiful sight of some of the temples and shrines and Gion area in Kyoto.

We had a wonderful experience at Kyoto. Though it was a rainy and cold day, we really enjoyed the places we visited. Our trip host, Ada has shared lot of details about the city and its heritage. She was very accommodative and ensured that we could see all important places within the available team. Overall, it was a fantastic trip.

Ai was a wonderful tour guide to me and my college age daughter. She asked for our bucket list and made sure we got to see everything we wanted to see while also adding in a couple other gems based on our interests that came up in conversation. We used a combination of public transport and taxis. The use of taxis was our choice to see more. She was friendly, knowledgeable and took us to a wonderful lunch at a local, authentic restaurant. We were very happy with the experience and found Kyoto to be a beautiful city.
