Toga was the best tour guide we’ve ever had the pleasure of touring with. He was incredibly knowledgeable, found ways to engage us based on our interests, helped curate an incredible itinerary that went well beyond our expectations and was also just quite a bit of fun to talk with. If you are interested in understanding culture, history, customs, while having someone whose presence only makes your trip that much more enjoyable, definitely ask for him!

We really enjoyed this walking tour with Alexis. It was terrific to start early before most of the crowds and hear insights and explanations of Japanese culture and life in Kyoto. It was great to have a private tour for our family (3 adults, 3 kids 6,9,12) to go at our pace and explore the things we were interested in. We’d highly recommend this tour

We really enjoyed our tour. Insightful, fun and very pleasant. Our tour guide was also very patient and lovely to work with. Even the rain could not stop our tour and tour guide. Glad I booked this tour. Would 100% recommend this tour to all of my family and friends visiting Kyoto.

Although we had visited Kyoto before, experiencing it through the eyes of a local made it truly special. Austin, guided us to quieter, hidden spots where we could enjoy the beauty of the cherry blossoms away from the crowds. It gave us a whole new appreciation for this amazing city.
