Have a rest on the shore of Lake Sevan, pearl of this mountainous country and one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in Eurasia. You will also visit Sevanavank, a monastery complex on Sevan peninsula. Currently a religious seminary functions here, which is not readily open to the public, the peninsula can be named the very point from where the whole beauty of the Lake Sevan is seen. You will then see Dilijan, otherwise referred to as "Armenian Switzerland" for its fantastic natural forests. The town is a part of Dilijan National Park. The next stop is Haghartsin, a 10th century monastery which has been recently renovated by donation of Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, who was impressed by the monastery when visited it. Goshavank is the final stop surrounded by green territories. Enjoy great views!

Lake Sevan
Sevan Lake, the fascination and the pearl of mountainous Armenia, which is one of the world's greatest high altitude fresh-water lakes. It is about 1900 m above sea level. The lake is of volcanic origin and is surrounded with mountains of 3000 m and higer. The beautiful landscape and the crystal water serve nice preconditions for excellent rest.
Goshavank Monastery
Goshavank was founded by the famous medieval scientist, fabulist Mkhitar Gosh. The complex consists of several religious and secular buildings. The unrivalled khachkar put in front of the one-naved basilica was created by the skillful master Poghos in 1291.Goshavank used to be one of the most famous religious and cultural centers in medieval Armenia.

Two unforgettable days

5.00On March 24th and 25th, we took a indivdual two-day tour to the north of Armenia. The first day included Lake Sevan and Dilijan with its surrounding monasteries, and an overnight stay at the Hover Boutique Hotel Dilijan. The second day took us to Aleverdi with the Haghpat and Sanahin monasteries. Our guide, Samvel, and driver, Sasha, did a fantastic job. Samvel has in-depth knowledge of Armenian history, culture and architecture. Sasha was always attentive and friendly. We felt safe and comfortable at all times. We weren't entirely satisfied with the hotel. The restaurant was closed in the evening and the receptionist didn't really help us to find the nearest restaurant. This tour will remain a cherished memory for a long time. We enjoyed every muinute of this journey. Maria and Bernd

5.00Melina was a great tour guide, very helpful and informative, spoke great English and Chinese, and was flexible with the timings, which is so important when working with a big group. I recommend Melina if anyone wants to visit Armenia's finest monasteries!

5.00A very lovely tour. Our tour guide - Mel did a great job, very informative. You could really see her passion for her job. We saw lots of churches as well as learned a lot about the history. A shout-out to our driver Kevin for ensuring a safe journey for us ❤️

He made us feel safe and confortable and always willing to share useful information about the places we visited. Our trio was very enjoyable. Highly recommanded.

5.00Beautiful trip with our driver Avet and our guide Anna to discover wonderful Armenian sites in the magic of the winter! Avet is a very experienced driver that safely travelled in frozen and sometimes narrow streets and Anna is the perfect passionate and qualified guide to know the history and traditions of the country!

5.00Our group of six friends were delighted with our three days Armenia tour with Hyur covering Khor Virap, Garni, Geghard, Sevan, Dilijan, Haghartsin, Goshavank, St Hripsime, St Gayane, Echmiadzin, Mother Cathedral and Zvartnots. Anush, our guide was professional and well-informed. We felt safe with Amman’s careful and skilful driving. In all, a great introduction to Armenian culture, history and beliefs 👍🏻

5.00It was all perfect!! The driver was very professionale and perfectly on time!! The guide, Hayk, is very prepared on the history of the places we visited, is helpful in all our request and this makes the tour very confortable. They are both higly recomended!!

We’d highly recommend Hyur Service you are a very professional company and were excellent in helping us bespoke our tour to our liking. Artur is the best driver we’ve ever had in Armenia. He’s a true gentleman, very polite and friendly and made us feel completely at ease throughout the two days we spent with him. 10 out of 10 all round!

5.00essential tour for those wishing to visit lake Sevan and its environments. we had a private tour without a guide, but the driver Grigor kindly provided essential information for the sites we visited. if in a hurry, you can skip the visit of the Tufenkian Old Dilijan Complex.
