  Great tour filled with lots of history not readily seen. Our guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. The wine tasting was excellent, with a diverse selection of Portuguese wines, meats / cheeses.

  We had a fantastic afternoon with Pedro on a beautiful Easter Sunday in Lisbon! There were 6 ladies, aged 50-83, and he expertly guided us through the town, using shortcuts and minimizing climbing! He is a wonderful story teller and guide. We also greatly enjoyed the tapas and wine experience at the end of the tour! By the end of the day, we truly felt like we had a friend, Pedro, in Lisbon!

  Exceptional tour! A two hour walking tour in the heart of Lisbon. Pedro was extremely knowledgeable and fun. He accommodated us at every turn and never hurried us. My girlfriend and I felt very comfortable as we explored Lisbon. He took us into areas we would never found on our own. Once we got to the wine tasting it was fabulous. The different kinds of olive oils from local regions with fresh bread was delightful and then experiencing five different local varieties of wine ended our night on a high note. Totally recommend and ask for Pedro he is a natural and excels at his job.

  I would highly recommend this tour. Elsa was the best tour guide! She was extremely knowledgeable and personable. We felt as if we were old friends by the end of the tour. We learned a lot about the city, and she took us to some places we never would have seen on our own. The wine and food tasting was memorable. The charcuterie board was amazing, and the wines were delicious. A very enjoyable experience.

• A lovely afternoon in Lisbon

  We had a phenomenal walking tour with Pedro. Such a bright person who really knows the history of Lisbon. He took us to the essential sites of downtown and we stopped along the way to check out some different parts of the culture (from the fish shop with salted cod to the cafes / pastry shop) it was so interesting to learn about te Portuguese culture. We then made our way with Pedro to Lisbon Winery where we had a fantastic wine tasting with Portuguese cheeses, charcuterie, bread, olive oil and wines. She has the best ‘nose’ in town and introduced us to some amazing wines, of which we bought some to take home. This was such a memorable tour and afternoon in Lisbon. • Excellent Lisbon Tours

  We used this company twice and had outstanding experiences both times. We arrived in Lisbon after a cruise and Alex met us at our hotel for a wonderful 3 hour walking tour of the city. Alex was fun and informative and took us to interesting nooks and crannies of the city; it was a great way to get to know Lisbon. We ended at a small restaurant where we were met by our private sommelier Adriana. We were set to taste 5 wines and after discussing things with her, we tried 2 wines and 3 ports. It was so much fun and she was so informative. We started with olive oil tasting and then had the most delicious charcuterie board. After this, Alex took us for traditional Portuguese pastries. After a day by ourselves, Elsa picked us up at our hotel for an exursion to Sintra and Cascais. We had a private Mercedes van and driver, who was delightful. Elsa was fun, energetic and full of great information. We visited the Pena Palace which was breathtaking and then went to Sintra, a beautiful hillside village, where we shopped and ate local pastries. We then headed to the sea for a delicious lunch and then drove down the coast back to Lisbon, stopping at the Caves of Hell and the lovely town of Cascais. It was an extraordinary day.

  We had a fabulous tour with Sofia. It was a great way to spend our first afternoon in Lisbon. We had a nice walk around the nearby neighborhoods and learned some of the history of Lisbon. She showed us places to go and a few to avoid plus shortcuts to get around. We finished up with a fabulous tasting of Portuguese wines and the largest most amazing charcuterie board I have ever seen. They even had gluten free bread for me . I highly recommend this tour as well as Sofia!!

  We met our guide as planned and had an enjoyable, informative and delicious experience. Nadia provided us with a good amount of detail about Lisbon's history as we navigated the historic and significant neighborhoods. She tailored the walk to meet our preferences. The tasting at the conclusion was a definite highlight- the samples were plentiful and we dined at a leisurely pace.
