The Gemini Freestyle 40' power catamaran is known for its speed and stability while still maintaining comfort allowing guests to stay dry. It truly is the most comfortable power catamaran on the island. MV Hyrdra has everything you need for a private charter for up to 12 guests. Swim with the turtles and see amazing fish and colorful coral using our brand new snorkel equipment.
Your private charter includes all U.S. national park fees, snorkeling gear, water, ice, soda, and ice cold beer.
MV Hydra features a FUSION stereo to listen to your favorite tunes. The bow offers spacious walk thru seating, transom seats and our custom bean bag chairs. The stern of the yacht has expansive seating covered and uncovered on our custom marine couches. A bathroom complete with washdown areas add to your comfort.

Seas the Day USVI is dedicated to a healthy experience. We have partnered with RayBiotech and all of our Captains and Crew are tested for Covid 19 each month. You will see each wearing a Covid Free bracelet. Each of our vessels are sanitized after each trip using established CDC and WHO guidelines. Since this is primarily an outdoor activity, masks are not required but can be worn by our guests if preferred.

Set off on an unforgettable 7-hour boat excursion from Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, and explore the best of the U.S. Virgin Islands by sea. Your journey begins in the historic harbor, offering stunning views of colonial architecture and cruise ships before cruising past Water Island and into the turquoise Caribbean waters. Beware - tour company may pull a bait and switch on the boat you actually get regardless of your reservation.

1.00The tour company called the day before the reservation to say that the power catamaran was not available and we would only be able to take a sailing catamaran that was significantly smaller. There was no other available option given we had less than 24 hour notice and they would not give us a discount. The captain of the sailing catamaran was terrific and the boat was nice but we were definitely limited in what we could do with the day as a result which was why I specifically booked a power vessel as opposed to a sailing vessel. Beware if you book through Seas the Day via Viator or TripAdvisor as they didn’t think twice about totally uprooting our plan at the last minute.

5.00We did a private charter on the Hydra with Brayson as our captain, and it was perfect! Brayson was an excellent captain who maneuvered us expertly through waves and around squalls. He was also very accommodating when my teens changed their minds about what they wanted to do. We enjoyed the day very much! At the end of the trip I asked our group of six what was the best part, and the private charter day came out the winner. Highly recommend!

5.00My daughter and I had an unforgettable snorkeling trip! We got to swim alongside sea turtles, rays, and so many colorful fish - it truly felt like we were in a nature documentary. The water at Turtle Cove and Honeymoon beach was crystal clear. Both stops offered something new and exciting! Captain Rusty was the best! He was funny, knowledgeable and passionate about the islands. This was one of the highlights of our vacation, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for an adventure on (and under!) the water. St. Thomas is our favorite vacation destination and Seas the Day is the only way to go!

5.00Captain Rusty did an awesome job with everyone on his boat. He put everyone on the trip as his priority and had a lot of great information about the places we explored and the snorkeling was great in both places. We saw turtles and a 4ft barracuda that was curious lol. Will do it again with them. Thank you for the great experience

4.00Captain Wallens was very informative and made every person on board feel safe, while also providing a relaxing experience on the water! Our first stop was Maho Bay and we were lucky enough to see some very large sea turtles. Then we jetted off to Carvel Rock where Captain Wallens informed us that sailors would have to unload their ammo (cannons) before entering the harbors. Our last stop was Congo Cay and had a fabulous time snorkeling!

5.00We had the most wonderful day with Captain Aaron!!! My husband and I went on a full day tour aboard MV Hydra. Aaron showed us all of the sights and gave us so much information. He helped us get comfortable with snorkeling in deep water. I would highly recommend this boat and Captain!! This exceeded all of our expectations!!
