Walk to Francoise's local covered market in Paris to meet some of her local producers. You might stop at the fishmonger, the fromagerie, and the produce store and pick up ingredients for your cooking class. Walk the short way back to Francoise's apartment, a beautiful apartment that is tastefully filled with finds from her travels. Join her in the kitchen and over cheese nibbles or snacks, learn how to make a classic French main dish. For your main, you might make feuilleté with leeks and shrimp in a ginger sauce, steak with a classic French Béarnaise sauce or poulet à l'estragon (chicken in a tarragon sauce).
After cooking, enjoy your lunch around your host's kitchen dining table featuring the classic French main course that you cooked together. End your meal with a traditional French dessert such as strawberry tartelettes (homemade lemon crust, crème pâtissière au Grand Marnier) or île flottante (a soft meringue served on top of sweet custard) which will be served with Champagne.

Gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian, and vegan diets can be accommodated with advance notice
Kosher-style requests are welcome (no pork, shellfish, meat + dairy), although the kitchen is not strictly kosher certified and ingredients may not be sourced from dedicated kosher markets.
If you would prefer to learn to make a dessert instead of a savory main course, please note this in your booking.

Meet your host in front of Sainte-Marie des Batignolles and stroll to a neighborhood covered market in Paris. Meet local vendors - from the fishmonger to the fromagerie - and learn how Parisians shop as you select fresh ingredients for your Paris cooking class. After the market visit, walk less than 10 minutes to Françoise’s apartment for your hands-on cooking class. Enjoy light snacks as you learn to prepare a classic French dish, then sit down to share the meal you’ve created together in her home. Finish with a traditional French dessert such as strawberry tartelettes or île flottante. Guests can choose between wine or Champagne, included with the meal. Dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice.

5.00This was the best thing we have done in Paris so far! We had a three year old with us, and Francoise was incredibly accommodating and made it fun for all of us. The food was incredible, and she ensured that everyone’s dietary needs were taken care of. We had an awesome time!

5.00My family and I had a WONDERFUL experience with Francoise! She is warm, knowledgable and makes you feel like you are a guest in her home. We had a fun trip to the market, a delicious lunch and loved trying her french recipes. 5.00We couldn't have loved our experience any more. Francoise was warm, clever, kind, and talented. The neighborhood was beautiful and quaint and we felt very Parisian walking through the markets and gorgeous streets. Francoise taught us so much about the food culture of Paris and how to cook an incredibly delicious meal. Our mouths are still watering for the meal. We are grateful for the experience.

5.00My husband and I had such an enjoyable evening with Fabienne and her friends. She met us at the metro station and took use to a fabulous cheese shop, before making our way up to her beautiful apartment for an amazing, authentic, French meal and great conversation with her other guests. It was all perfect and memorable! I would highly recommend this experience to other travelers!
