Jemaa el-Fnaa
Discover the legendary Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the beating heart of Marrakech and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Koutoubia Mosque
Stroll around the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque, crowned by its iconic towering minaret—the tallest structure in Marrakech. By law, no building within the old city walls may exceed its height, symbolizing its religious and historical importance. Completed in 1199, the Koutoubia is the largest mosque in Marrakech and a masterpiece of Almohad architecture, beautifully visible from many points across the city.
