Materuni Waterfalls
Today, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the Materuni village, where you will embark on a short but challenging hike to the Materuni Falls. Here, you can relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the waterfall. Later, you will make your way to a nearby coffee farm, where you can learn how coffee is grown, harvested, and processed. You will have the opportunity to try roasting and preparing your fresh cup of raw, local coffee! You'll enjoy your delicious drink before making your way to a nearby hot spring. The warm water and beautiful scenery make this spring one of the best places to swim at Materuni Falls. After your swim, you will be driven To Kikuletwa Hotspring
Kikuletwa Hotsprings
After lunch at materuni, your driver will pick you up for the 45-minutes drive from Materuni to Chemka Hotspring via the Arusha-Moshi road. The journey starts on a paved road and then transitions to gravel after about an hour, leading through stunning African countryside with bushland, dry riverbeds, baobab, and acacia trees. Upon reaching Kikuletwa, it resembles an oasis amid sprawling fig trees in the semi-arid landscape. Crystal clear water bubbles from underground caves, earning it the name 'Hot Springs.' If you bring your bathing suit, you can take a refreshing dip and relax in the shade. After a picnic lunch, we'll return to Arusha/Moshi via gravel roads

The perfect wildlife viewing tour! The guide was very experienced and knowledgeable, accurately predicting when and where animals would appear. Several national parks were all absolutely stunning, with primitive natural scenery that intoxicated us. We saw many wild animals, and couldn't stop taking photos. The itinerary was reasonable and safe, with good vehicle conditions and skilled drivers. For this price to have such an experience, it offers great value for money, highly recommended to all nature lovers!

Seth is an incredibly trustworthy, professional, and detail-oriented guide—and also the owner of this travel agency. He was always punctual and made sure to clean the vehicle thoroughly every day. He was open and knowledgeable about everything, from the plants in the mountains to transparent pricing, sharing insights generously. We had an absolutely wonderful time with him. As a young man who has worked his way up from the Maasai tribe, we were truly inspired by his entrepreneurial spirit.

My husband and I had the pleasure to experience this great tour with Seth as our personal local guide and it was a wonderful experience. The organisation is very professional and we didn't have to worry about anything. All our questions and requests were satisfied. The tour was very informative, varied and authentic, which is what we appreciated the most. We felt very welcome and very much at ease. We would like to repeat the experience in the future, and we highly recommend this provider, also because it's local, and not mediated by many other external agencies. Absolutely worth it ;)

The driver and the organizer were both very friendly, and we really appreciate it. We were very impressed by the coffee tour and the waterfall, I will definitely recommend it. We contacted the tour operator and were able to tailor the tour exactly to our needs. We first visited the Materuni Waterfall and then a Maasai village. The Maasai village was also a very special experience, even if it was a bit strange for us Europeans. Nevertheless, it was worth the experience and it was organized superbly.

Seth was our guide whilst in Arusha and he was fantastic. He was such a positive energy and he always made sure we had everything we needed. We had a special request and Seth made sure he went above and beyond to help us and even hung out with us after our tour ended which was great!

We had such a fantastic day combining nature, culture, and relaxation. The hike to Materuni Waterfalls was rewarding – the waterfall itself is stunning, surrounded by lush greenery. After the hike, we visited a local village for a coffee experience, where we learned every step of the traditional process, from roasting the beans to preparing and tasting a fresh cup together with the locals. The day ended at the Kikuletwa Hot Springs, a beautiful natural oasis with warm, crystal-clear water – the perfect way to unwind after the morning’s activities. A truly authentic and well-balanced experience that gave us a taste of both adventure and relaxation.

We went to 4 with family in December 2020 in the middle of COVID. Seth was very cool always smiling full of anecdotes. He went very well with our two teenagers. The day was great the hike accessible to the waterfalls, the village , the people of the villages who explain the cultivation and making of coffee. Then we ground the grain into songs it was very nice.
