COMREHENSIVE GUIDED WALKING TOUR OF THE OLD CITY DISTRICT - Since 1972, almost the whole of Munich's Old Town has been a pedestrian zone. Many of the following attractions are best explored on foot: See and learn about the history of the medieval city center, the Residence and Opera, the churches Frauenkirche, Asamkirche (and St. Michaelchurch), see typical medieval town houses, the Hofbräuhaus, Viktualienmarket and of course the famous Glockenspiel at Marienplatz. With pleasure we can take you to all places mentioned in the text, shown on our images and/or depending on your own wishes.

Now you can look forward to our... GUIDED COMPRIHENSIVE CITY TOUR in VW-Comfort-Minivan. Again, we will not confront you with boring dates. But we will bring the history of the visited sights in a fascinating way closer to you! All the following attractions are the most appropriate to be explored by car: You are shown and explained magnificent boulevards and plazas, the classicistic 'Kings Square', buildings and places from the 3rd Reich era, Hitlers private appartements, the Pinakotheken-Galleries, the "Deutsches Museum". the English Garden with its many surprises, ALLIANZ ARENA - home of the 'Bayern Muenchen' soccer team, Olympic Center and BMW-Headquarters/-Museum and the/-Showroom ('BMW World'). We will also pass the place, where King Ludwig II.'s Grandfather, the later King Ludwig I., celebrated his wedding more than 200 years ago, which we know today as the Oktoberfest! And last but not least you should not miss Nymphenburg castle, the huge summer residence of the Wittelsbach Dynasty and birth place of King Ludwig II. If you want to get an idea of finest baroque decoration, we recommend a guided tour of interior (€ 6.00 p.P., children until 18 years free of charge). What about a traditional unexpencive lunch in the largest beer garden in the world? With pleasure we will take you there! (outdoors and indoors possible) OPTIONAL: Visit of the Olympic Tower - the highest attainable place in Munich offers overwhelming views and a revolving restaurant. 5.00Great day! We had limited time in Munich, and this was a great way to see a lot in a short time. We were picked up by Stefan in a very comfortable vehicle. We have been to Munich several times, but almost everything we did was new to us. We drove around Munich learning interesting facts. The ride to Dachau was easy, and it was definitely worth the effort to see. We did the abbreviated version of the lakes and skipped the monastery because we did not want to spend that much extra time in the car. The lake visit we visited was beautiful. We had lunch at a local beer garden. We were given the option of grabbing something quick to go or sitting and eating. We were ready to sit and relax so we took the break. Overall, the trip was informative and worthwhile. Stefan was excellent.

5.00Stefan is amazing! We had the best day riding in luxury in our private van. We are so impressed with Stefan’s knowledge of the history. Munich is a beautiful city in which we will always remember what we learned and hope to visit again.

5.00Pre-covid review: My friends and I were fortunate to have participated in this informative and lovely tour of Munich with Stefan in Oct. 2019, prior to the pandemic. While an itinerary was in place, I felt Stefan was also very flexible and accommodating to our interests and was able to make suggestions for other places if time or circumstance required, afforded to us by the tour's use of a private, air conditioned, comfortable van. He was pleasant and knowledgable and the tour felt safe and fun! Highly recommend this tour. Highlights of the tour included visiting beautiful Lake Starnberger, Dachau concentration camp and lunch at a charming English style biergarten.

5.00We were so looking forward to this tour, but unfortunately we needed to cancel due to the pandemic. Stefan has been very accommodating and responsive both before and after my tour cancellation. Everything has been handled professionally from the special accommodations he made for us at the time of booking through to our regrettable cancellation. We would love to reschedule our tour with him as soon as we are able to travel again.
