Our private North Shore tour centers around Waimea Valley and Waterfall. Enjoy a 1.6-mile paved walk through a tropical botanical garden, where your guide shares the history, cultural context, and traditional uses of the plants and wildlife. The path leads to Waimea Falls, where swimming is permitted when conditions allow. Most guests spend 2–2.5 hours in the valley. By focusing on the North Shore instead of circling the entire island, you gain more time at each stop and less time traveling. It’s a relaxed, scenic experience that allows you to explore this side of Oahu more deeply, at your own pace.

Waikiki
Our tour begins with a drive through the vibrant heart of Oahu—Waikiki. We’ll cruise along bustling Kalakaua Avenue, renowned for its high-end boutiques and local shops. Next, we’ll pass through Kapiolani Park, home to the Honolulu Zoo and Waikiki Aquarium. Hear fascinating stories and history about Waikiki, including details about the Natatorium and famous statues.
North Shore
We’ll make a stop at Haleiwa Beach Park, where you can soak in the scenic surroundings with a picture-perfect backdrop of the Waianae Mountains and perhaps spot a Hawaiian green sea turtle. As we continue along Kamehameha Highway on the North Shore, you'll enjoy breathtaking coastal views and renowned beaches, offering glimpses of beautiful scenery and, if the season is right, some of the world's most spectacular surf action.

5.00Great tour of the Waimea Valley and the North Shore. John was a great driver and very knowledgeable about all of the different birds and flowers at the botanical gardens and waterfall. He also brought us to a surfing competition at Pipeline Beach which was incredible! John is very flexible and allowed us to customize our itinerary since we preferred a shorter experience. Highly recommended!

5.00We wanted to go to the Dole Plantation and Waimea Falls and John was ablue to accommodate our request. His knowledge of Hawaiian history and his knowledge of the different types of Hawaiian vegetation was incredible. He was flexible with the itinerary and gave us options of various of sights to see on the way to and from the North Shore. I highly recommend John if you looking for a private tour of Oahu!!

5.00We had an amazing personal tour guide, John, that shared lots of Hawaiian knowledge and took us around to some amazing places. We got to stop at turtle Beach and see the big turtles and then went to Waimea Falls where we had lunch and got to stroll through a beautiful botanical garden while John shared info with us of all the different flowers, trees, plants and birds. Then we had a refreshing swim up to the falls and John took some awesome pictures. We got to stop and check out the China man's hat and then Nu' Uanu Palo State Park to see an amazing view of Hawaii. John is a very pleasurable and knowledgeable tour guide. A big Mahalo shout out to John for making this an amazing memorable adventure for us. You won't be disappointed. 🌺🤙
