The charming Al Fahidi neighborhood comes next, with its towering wind towers and timeless tales. We’ll sip Arabic coffee, swap stories, and close the experience with a local Emirati meal that captures the essence of Dubai’s soul: warm, diverse, and unforgettable.

Al Shindagha Museum
We begin our tour at the Al Shindagha Museum district, our launch pad into old Dubai. Here, we thread together curated galleries and tactile displays to show how Dubai grew from creekside settlements into a trading crossroads. We’ll trace pearl-diving tales and dhow routes that linked Dubai to Persia, India, and East Africa. Objects become characters, maps turn into stories, and the Creek moves from backdrop to main character.
Dubai Creek
The wooden abra boats plying the busy Dubai Creek are one of Dubai's most iconic scenes to witness. Guests will enjoy an unforgettable experience on a private abra ride and capture the city from the water as we time-travel from its past to its present.

5.00We booked a combined private tour of Old Dubai and Modern Dubai with Wander With Nada, and it was truly one of the best experiences of our trip. We were traveling as a family, and from the very beginning, Nada curated an itinerary that felt thoughtful, local, and perfectly balanced. She’s a fantastic host—warm, knowledgeable, and easy to connect with. We loved hearing her personal stories, insights about life in Dubai, and her recommendations throughout the day. The tour gave us such a genuine sense of the city’s past and present. The mix of experiences made the whole day feel dynamic and immersive. And the lunch… absolutely incredible! If you want a tour that goes deeper than the typical tourist spots and feels curated by someone who truly loves her city, we can’t recommend Nada enough. It was a standout day for our family, and we’d happily book with her again.

5.00A great private tour with fascinating background information. The program was excellently put together and the organization was first-class – including uncomplicated online booking. We had to bring our children (5 and 6 years) at short notice, which was no problem at all on the private tour. Nada has the two wonderfully involved, so even the little ones had a really nice day. At the end we had a delicious lunch with traditional dishes. Overall a perfect trip!

5.00We had the most incredible and authentic experience with Nada! Not only was she very knowledgeable about the past, but also referred to the history and how it pertained to today’s culture and influence. We really understood more about how and why Dubai is a melting pot of the world. We are a family of 4 - a wheelchair user and child, included. Nada made sure the accommodations from the boat ride to the lunch restaurant were accessible. It was the perfect day in Dubai, and it still left us with plenty of time to enjoy all the other attractions the city has to offer!

5.00My husband and I had the best day with Nada. We learnt so much about old Dubai, its history and culture and saw some fantastic places. Nada is absolutely lovely and so knowledgeable, it was such a pleasure spending time with her. We can’t recommend Nada enough, don’t hesitate, book the tour, honestly you won’t regret it!!

5.00It was definitely a half day well spent! We saw a side of Dubai that we would never have imagined, such rich history and culture. Nada was brilliant! She knew exactly how/when to share interesting info, the tour was well planned out and we took the right number of stops at the right places. And the food at the end was great!I'd surely recommend this tour with Nada to all!

5.00Nada is, quite simply, the best tour guide I've ever encountered. Two years ago, my wife and I booked a private tour of Old Dubai with her, and we loved every moment of it—the history, the cultural knowledge, the sights, the conversations with locals, and of course the food. We learned more in less time than I would have thought possible. This year, I held a team offsite in Dubai, and so decided to take the team (seven of us in all) on the same tour with Nada as a bit of cultural immersion into the city that was hosting us. Over and over again, I heard, "What an amazing end to the week!" I also heard, "Best offsite ever," and I suspect that Nada's tour had a lot to do with that. I can't recommend Nada highly enough. Seriously, she is a force of nature, a human dynamo, a deeply knowledgeable guide, and just an all-around great person.

5.00My wife and I came to Dubai a few days early before joining our cruise. We didn’t know what to expect. Fortunately, we spent two wonderful days with Nada. She showed us both the modern and the old Dubai, the amazing architecture and the traditional. Nada was engaging, knowledgeable, and being well traveled herself, knew what it took t make our visit memorable. We highly recommend Nada.

5.00Nada is consistently amazing. She knows everything and knows the ins and outs of every aspect of this city. This is our second tour with her. She helped us plan drivers to and from Abu Dhabi and helped us plan all aspects of our trip outside of Dubai. She's nothing short of amazing. Reach out to her for tours, she's worth every penny.

She handled the private boat ride and the absolutely delicious lunch. We look forward to doing another tour again when we return to Dubai!
