Bayon Temple
Pick up you at the lobby of your hotel and transfer to Angkor Thom. You will enter the ancient city through its South Gate. In the very centre lies the temple of Bayon – silent witnesses of time, the 216 enigmatic faces gaze over the horizon and one can only wonder what they have seen throughout the ages. Your guide will point out the best angles for photography here and give explanation of the many intricate carvings on the walls of the galleries. You will then continue to Baphuon with its long causeway and an impressive giant Reclining Buddha, a jigsaw puzzle only put back together in 2011 following a 37 year-long disruption caused by the war. Phimeanakas is hiding in the shaded jungle and offers a decent over-the-tree-tops view to those who conquer the steep steps to the top. Continuing along the Esplanade of the Royal Palace more commonly known as the Terrace of the Elephants you will wind up your exploration in the shaded area of the picturesque Preah Palilay.
Ta Prohm Temple
Our next stop, Ta Prohm, gained its 21st Century fame from the movie Tomb Raider featuring Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft. Today, with Lara long gone, this temple is on the itinerary of most visitors and rightfully so. Many corners of Ta Prohm showcase an intricate relationship between the roots of Spung tree (Tetrameles Nudiflora) and ancient stones covered in moss. Truly a photographer's paradise, don't miss the opportunity to capture your own explorer's moments. Break for lunch.

5.00Such a fantastic experience with Chansip. We are a group of 3 friends who came to Siem Reap for only the weekend. Chansip showed us around the temples on the Saturday, explaining the history with great enthusiasm. His professionalism and kindness was appreciated, and the temples were just so amazing! He catered to us (our timings) which we really appreciate. The driver was also very kind, always ready with cold water and cold towels after each temple. Thank you for such an amazing day- 10/10 experience!

5.00Our tour guide Chansip picked us up on time at the hotel with driver. On the way to the ticket office of Ankor Wat, he explained the different ticket purchase options (day ticket, 3 day pass and 1 week). We were provided with fresh cold drinks by the driver during the day tour. Chansip has a great knowledge of the culture, language, history and temple complex of Ankor Wat. He pointed out a lot to us, gave good tips and suggestions for further excursions. He is also a great photographer. Thank you for this great day and we look forward to seeing you again to learn more about Cambodia.

5.00Our day-long tour of the Angkor temples with Chansip was one of the best experiences of our Cambodia trip. He is friendly and outgoing, speaks excellent English and is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Angkor Wat and also the history of Cambodia and the whole region. Chansip was also very thoughful, keeping us hydrated and in the shade where possible and answering my endless questions in great detail.

5.00I did enjoy the visit of temples with Mr Vanna who is a good guide. Mr Vanna speaks very well english, he has good knowledges about temples and Khmers history. He has a good behaviour and you can trust on him.

5.00We enjoyed our tour with Chansip! We went with 2 kids and 3 adults. He had so much great information and really enhanced our time at the temples. We had been told a guide wasn’t needed but we found that having a guide helped us understand the temples better and show us some neat facts. It was also nice to be able to ask questions about life in Cambodia. An added bonus - having a photographer that could take good photos of our group! We had lots of cold water provided which was great on the warm day. Thank you for a lovely day!

5.00Silong was an amazing guide and driver! Originally brought us from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap with stops along the way. Helped us out with the local language barrier and was fun to tour with. Showed us some amazing local spots outside of the stops we requested. Enjoyed him so much we asked for a tour the next day of the temples which he said yes. The second day was much better with him there. He is very knowledgeable of Cambodian history explaining everything to us along the way. He also knows where to eat great food so be sure to ask for his recommendations. Can't wait to come back and tour with him again.
