Enjoy quick pass by Bimmah Sinkhole in your way to wadi Shab . Prepare your camera for nice photos before continue your way to wadi Shab.

Wadi Shab

This Wadi is an enormous canyon gorge that is lined with palm trees and impressive indications of what the power of the water coming down from the mountains can do in nature. With a 35-minute hike up through the canyon Wadi, we arrive at one of several crystal-clear water pools. Tourists can swim on through the warm waters from pool to pool. Eventually, we come to the last pool where an opening among the enormous rocks allows us to swim into an incredible crevice cave with as mall waterfall. Inside, the sunlight filters in from the outside, turning the water into a beautiful turquoise blue whilst water showers down one side of the cave from the wadi beyond.

Wadi Tiwi

Our next stop is the Wadi Tiwi photo stop, which is named after Tiwi village at the coast, is a beautiful wadi with the lush plantations giving it a different (certainly greener) feel than many other wadis.

Wahiba Sands

Afterwards drive to Wahiba Sands Desert here you drive off road and see stretches after stretches of pure sand and endless towering sand dunes. Here you will get to appreciate and experience the real feel and magic of the Omani desert.

Wadi Bani Khalid

Then after drive to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the biggest and most beautiful Wadis in Oman. Here you can swim, sunbathe, relax and have a picnic in the beautiful scenic of wadi canyons. One of the most famous wadis in the Sultanate. A short walk takes you to large emerald pools. then drive back to Muscat.

Wonderful day spent with Hamood. We were picked up from the desert and spent the day at Wadi Shab under the safe and thoughtful guidance of Hamood. Organized end to end coordination and an amazing experience! Highly recommend organizing private adventure tours with this company!

My friends and I enjoyed working with Oman Landscape Tours for our recent trip to Oman - they were adaptable, and helped us to arrange for day trips despite short notice. We also enjoyed our tour with our guide Khalid, who took us on a multi-day trip to Wahiba Sands, Wabi Shab, Nizwa, Bimmah Sinkhole and more. While we would’ve appreciated a bit more in-depth history/explanations of each site, we appreciated his flexibility, understanding of Omani culture, excellent command of English and professionalism. I would highly recommend the Oman Landscape Tour team for any visit to Oman.

We had a great experience in Oman with Sunshine Oman tours. We did a Muscat city tour, followed by Wadi Shab, an overnight desert experience, Nizwa and Jebel Akhtar, I would recommend bringing hiking shoes for Wadi Shab, also the Al Salam Camp is raw and rough around the edges. We want to complement the company on the Land Rover vehicle that made it easy for us to get around. Some opportunities would be more explanations / information about the sites visited and more time in Jebel Akhtar.

Very enjoyable quick tour of several of Oman’s highlights. Our drive/guide was great. The weather in November was perfect. Oman is very beautiful and the people are very hospitable. We will differently return for a longer trip in the future.

Great tour to the Wahiba Sands with Wadi Shab and Wadi Bani Khalid. We were allowed enough time at all the locations to enjoy those amazing places. Special mention to our tour guide Khalid, a very friendly and knowledgeable guide that always made sure we enjoyed our time and taught us a lot of new things about Oman and its culture.

Our overnight trip to wahiba sand desert was unforgettable. We love the camel ride, aunset and sunrise experienced on the top of the dunes, and visiting the bedouin house where we drink the local coffee and dates. Thank to our excellent guide hamood, highly recommended this tour!
