Marvel at the beauty of Plitvice Lakes National Park on a day trip to the oldest and most visited national park in Croatia, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. Marvel at the network of 16 crystal blue lakes with wonderful waterfalls of all sizes. The tour takes you on a walk trough the Lower lakes all the way to the biggest waterfall in Croatia (78 meters high).

We had the pleasure to be accompanied by Iva as a guide and nino as a driver. Service provided was impeccable. Tours proposed were adjusted to our liking allowing some flexibility where needed. Really nothing one can complain about. Swanky and Iva s team can definitely help you plan your trip to make the best out of your time and guide you to see the best the country has to offer, at a very reasonable price.

We had arranged a day trip to Lake Plitvice / Rastoke in 2020 through Swanky Travel, before our travel plans were impacted by the pandemic. Optimistically we rebooked it with them for 2021 but had to cancel it again. Booked it for 2022 and delighted to make it over to Zagreb, to hear Swanky could still help us with the day trip. To thank us for our loyalty Iva, their branch manager, arranged and took us on a 2hr walking tour of Zagreb, which was so kind of her. So glad she did, as we learned so much about the city and Croatia, saw things we would have missed. It was really enjoyable, Iva is passionate about sharing with you her knowledge and insight, and in a fun way. The next day her colleague Ivan took us to Lake Plitvice and Rastoke. As there was 8 of us we had the small coach to ourselves, which was brilliant. Ivan was an excellent and safe driver, who looked after us and provided local information through the day. Rastoke was our first stop and is a fascinating place, with the way the water flows through it. For Lake Plitvice, Ivan dropped us off at Lake Plitvice Entrance 2 and picked us up at Entrance 1. There is a walk (roughly 2-3 hours) around the lake and waterfalls, with options for boats across. The boardwalks which take you round the waterfalls are amazing, so close to the water. It was brilliant to spend the afternoon in such a beautiful place. We were thankful it was relatively quiet and so 3rd time lucky to spend time at Rastoke & Lake Plitvice. Beautiful and just the ticket. Kvala Swanky.

We had a wonderful time, the weather was amazing and the lakes were beautiful. The tour was perfectly planed time wise and we loved our guide. There wasn't to many people so the experience was better because at most of the parts we were alone. The nature is breathtaking and the water is so clear. On our way back we stopped at this amazibg little village Rastoke for a homade lunch. Would love to go again when we will have a chance. Tnx Swanky

We had s great hassle and rush free day in Rastoke and Plitvice Lakes with Swanky Travel. Off season Plitvice might not be super colourful but still an amazing place to visit without the crowds, and we got lucky with some glorious sunshine too. Everything went as planned and with no hiccups whatsoever. Car war so comfortable that I slept all the way from and back to Zagreb. :D
