We will meet at the entrance of the Municipal House. This Art Nouveau building was opened in 1912 and deemed a building “built by Czechs, for Czechs”. It houses the famous Smetana Concert Hall as well as a number of wonderful restaurants and wine bars. Most importantly it was the location of Czechoslovakia’s declaration of Independence.

5.00Jirka was our guide and he was absolutely incredible! It was our first day in the city and he showed us everything. We definitely recommend the 5 hour tour as we were not rushed and had plenty of time for questions, conversation, and pictures. Jirka took us to a great spot to eat lunch and we all had classic Czech food! Again, could not recommend this tour enough!!

Not only did she do an amazing job of educating us on the history of this beautiful city, she also brought the city “to life” by sharing personal stories of spending her life in this beautiful country. 5.00Mark met us promptly at our hotel and was very easy-going and kind from the get-go. Our tour felt well-paced and not rushed at all, and it was the perfect amount of time to get up know Prague without getting too bogged down in ancient history. Mark is obviously a highly intelligent guy with good taste and a keen eye for finding the humor in history and everyday life. Highly recommend.

5.00We wanted to take a tour that would give us a comprehensive overview of the city without being in a tourist glob and this tour delivered. It was just the two of us on the tour and we actually ended up with two tour guides! (One was training). Prepare to walk A LOT as this was a long tour. We did get to see all the highlights and enjoyed our meal. Wrapped it all up with a leisurely boat ride. A pleasant way to end the day after all the walking. You’ll get a lot of good tips and historry along the way. Hat tip to Nikola and Jacob (our guides)

5.00We had a wonderful tour with Mark in Prague, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we met him, Mark’s warmth, professionalism, and passion for the city were apparent. At first Mark asked us if we wanted more history or less history so he could tailor the tour to our interests. We never felt rushed, and we learned so much without it ever feeling like a lecture. Plus, he gave us awesome tips for places to eat and explore after the tour. Mark was full of so much information. Highly recommended!

5.00My kids and I enjoyed the Prague city tour with Mark. He was a fabulous and knowledgeable guide. We walked all over Prague and saw so many historic sites. Mark was very good about explaining the history and also followed up with an email including recommendations for the rest of our stay in Prague. I would highly recommend everyone do this tour on your first day in the city.
