  An unforgettable day in Prague with Jan We set Jan a tough brief: show us the best of Prague in a single day, cover the history properly, and keep it genuinely engaging for four kids aged 8–14. After seven weeks in Europe and dozens of excellent guides, Jan truly stands out as exceptional. Jan thoughtfully customised the tour to suit our family and made it fun, meaningful, and accessible for everyone. He is a natural storyteller with incredible energy and warmth — I suspect the most open and welcoming person in Czechia and one of the best guides in Europe . He checked in regularly, adjusted the pace as needed, and kept the kids engaged with questions, challenges, and little rewards when they connected the dots. It felt less like a formal tour and more like spending the day with a wise, kind family friend who happens to have a teaching background and knows everything about Prague. Jan showed remarkable patience and insight in responding to children’s questions, balanced depth with humour, and made sure no one was left behind. He was also generous with practical help — offering to take family photos, finding great viewpoints, tailoring the route as we went, and helping us plan the rest of our stay. His food recommendations (and what to order!) were spot on. One of the most meaningful parts of the day was Jan sharing his own family’s experiences growing up during Soviet times. He did this with sensitivity and honesty, and it deeply resonated with both us and our kids. Prague City Adventures were also excellent — communication was fast and clear, and they were incredibly understanding and flexible when a flight delay forced a last-minute date change. We felt genuinely welcomed and cared for, and we couldn’t recommend Jan and Prague City Adventures more highly. A truly memorable day in a beautiful city.

  A very enjoyable day indeed with our welcoming and knowledgeable guide Mark. Our tour encompassed the sights of the old town, Jewish quarter, lesser town and Hrad and also included a tram ride and lovely lunch. He dealt with the cold, crowds and us in jovial fashion, always having an answer to our questions. From Wenceslas to the Hapsburgs to the fall of communism he certainly knew his stuff, terrific guide who I would certainly recommend.

  Highly recommended to try “Prague City Tour: Best Sights & Hidden Gen”. As first time visitors to the city, we had a wonderful experience, especially with assistance of our amazing tour guide “Nikola Mistafa”. She was very friendly & always push for extra-mile.

  Jirka was our guide and he was absolutely incredible! It was our first day in the city and he showed us everything. We definitely recommend the 5 hour tour as we were not rushed and had plenty of time for questions, conversation, and pictures. Jirka took us to a great spot to eat lunch and we all had classic Czech food! Again, could not recommend this tour enough!!

  My husband & I felt that our private tour of the Highlights of Prague made our 1st visit to Prague that much more meaningful. Our tour guide, Nicola, was fantastic! Not only did she do an amazing job of educating us on the history of this beautiful city, she also brought the city “to life” by sharing personal stories of spending her life in this beautiful country. She treated us to a delicious lunch & made sure to share recommendations for other good restaurants & places in the city to visit on our own. We feel so lucky to have shared time with Nicola. Feel like we have made a new friend. Melinda & Jim

  Mark met us promptly at our hotel and was very easy-going and kind from the get-go. Our tour felt well-paced and not rushed at all, and it was the perfect amount of time to get up know Prague without getting too bogged down in ancient history.   We wanted to take a tour that would give us a comprehensive overview of the city without being in a tourist glob and this tour delivered. It was just the two of us on the tour and we actually ended up with two tour guides! (One was training). Prepare to walk A LOT as this was a long tour. We did get to see all the highlights and enjoyed our meal. Wrapped it all up with a leisurely boat ride. A pleasant way to end the day after all the walking. You’ll get a lot of good tips and historry along the way. Hat tip to Nikola and Jacob (our guides)
