Your private tour guide will show you around the best parts of the World Heritage listed Gondwana Rainforests. Witness an array of breathtaking waterfalls, surrounded by ancient flora and a diverse range of natural vegetation. Walk amongst wild kangaroos, look for koalas.
Lunch can be provided at the top or bottom of one of the many beautiful waterfalls that we will visit (not included for tours starting at/after 4pm unless requested)

5.00Rainforest Hike in a place where they say everything in Australia wants to kill you? Better have a good guide and host. This is where Gold Coast Rainforest Tours comes into play. I was looking online for a private tour for my family of 5, something that would go at our pace and not a planned time for each landmark and then dropping you off at your hotel exhausted and wishing you'd saw more. Well, Talitha, our tour guide, made sure she gave us a personal and personable experience. Moving at our pace, we explored the wonders of the rainforest, pausing to learn about the different plants, the aboriginal culture, and the plants and animals to look out for. Then the waterfalls, breathless and awe inspiring. She even took time to walk and stop specifically for my children, showing them fruit from the trees, letting them explore the rainforest and waterfalls at their level. Not one time did they look bored or disinterested, thats the type of tour you want for your family. Afterwards, heading to see the kangaroos and koalas, I was amazed at how accessible they were. Talitha showed us the best ones to see and the joey's in the pouch. Then the elusive koalas...Talitha poured through the trees looking for one. Just when we thought we were done, she comes waving us down saying "I found one". He was hanging high up in a tree and almost out of site, but we were able to see one! That was the icing on the cake. If you're looking for something personal, intentional and accessible, book this tour.
Full day hiking in the rainforest

5.00We were short on time in the area and wanted to see and hike in the rainforest. We knew we needed an experienced guide. Peter was exactly what we were seeking. We had a full day of hikes (+8 miles in total) on several trails, saw many waterfalls and beautiful vistas. Peter is super knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the land, area and wildlife. Peter will customize the day based on your group, but we were a pair that wanted to hike and not be slowed down by a tour group. Highly recommend if you want an active experience.

5.00What a great day out with Peter, our guide for the day. Saw some magnificent sights in the rain forest, which is about an hours drive from the Gold Coast. Waterfalls, stunning vistas, birds and ancient trees. Peter was really knowledgeable and informative. Nice picnic lunch too😜

5.00Peter was our guide for the day. He arrived at our accommodation on time and greeted us warmly. He was knowledgeable and kind throughout the tour, accommodating to our requests. Lunch was provided. Peter went out of his way to look for Koalas and we appreciate his enthusiasm throughout the tour. Keep up the good energy, Peter! Big love from Singapore.

5.00Talitha was AMAZING as was the entire private tour. We were able to email back and forth over exactly what our family liked and the pace at which we were comfortable moving. Talitha was then able to exactly plan our day and we got everything done as promised! Her incredible knowledge of the rainforest was amazing!! My husband, daughter and I all agreed one of our best tours ever!! Highly recommend!!

5.00We had such a great time! We hesitated to take this tour because we were only on the Gold Coast for two days. However, after seeing the great reviews, we decided to book, and Peter (the guide) managed to exceed our expectations. We highly recommend this tour—it’s definitely worth the money. I can’t believe how much we saw and learned in just one day. Peter is truly an exceptional guide.

5.00Peter was amazing - he was super knowledgeable about the region and the history of Australia and provided a rich commentary as we cruised to each destination. He picked locations that were secluded, away from the big tours and tourists so we could have a private experience with kangaroos, koalas and glow worms. The glow worms were stunning, by far the most I have seen in one location. Would definitely recommend!
