explore Gougane Barra, this is surrounded by mystery and folklore, here St Finbarr and a fire breathing, slimy creature with ferocious claws called Luiwee had an epic battle which lasted for 5 days and 5 nights until Finbarr finally won the day. Luiwee left the lake and slid down the Lee Valley gouging out the two river channels visible to this very day. St Finbarr decided to settle in the area, founded a monastery and Cork was born. Soak up the scenery in this haven of peace and tranquillity, in the middle of the lake there is an island with a nineteenth century oratory and the ruins of an ancient monastic site dating back to the 6th century. 5.00My wife and I enjoyed an excellent tour with our guide, Tony. We hit the highlights on the ring of Kerry tour and experienced a couple of unexpected bonuses because of his local knowledge. The itinerary was full but not rushed. We highly recommend the tour and Tony specifically.

5.00We decided to take this tour while staying in Cork for a few days. The trip definitely met, and exceeded, our expectations! Tony, our tour guide, was hilarious and very kind sharing his knowledge with us. He also helped us get the best views and photo opportunities. We would absolutely recommend this day trip to anyone. We were travelling with my in-laws who sometimes have difficulty getting around. This trip was easy enough for them but I would also recommend for young families or groups. I appreciate that we went to several stops that were off the beaten path of the mainstream tourism buses. In some places, we were the only people in sight, making experiencing the Irish countryside more magical!

5.00We had an amazing tour through Ireland in July, 2024 with Munster Bus Tours! They were a 10 out of 10 for service, tour guide, follow up, price and FUN! We were a family of 7 and not only did our tour guide Tony bring us around to all the places on our list, we went off the beaten path and he showed us an Irish experience we will never ever forget. His humor and kindness were out of this world! I would definitely use this tour company again and highly recommend them for all your Ireland planning needs! Kudos to both Tony our tour guide and Cathy who assisted in our planning. We had a memorable Ireland trip!

5.00Flawless tour! Brian was a great guide and he was so knowledgeable and accomodating. Perfect timing everywhere we went and we did not feel rushed at any stop. Brian was great at showing us so many great places in the time we had. Highly reccomend it!

5.00We, a group of 4, had a private tour with Munsterbus for 3 days from Kildare to Dingle covering the Rock of Cashel, Castle Cahir, Cobh, Ring of Kerry, Killarney National parks, Slea Head Drive, and Dingle. We had a wonderful tour with Ian our driver and guide. Ian is a very professional and knowledgeable guide. He gave us a very good overview about history of Ireland and various historical places. He is passionate about tour services and we all had a very enjoyable time with him. Also his recommendations for restaurants are very very good. Thanks Munsterbus and Ian.
