  Despite the rain we enjoyed this unique experience on a beautiful sailboat. The food, prepared by Alvin, was amazing. Our captain, Derek, was awesome! Our guide on the hike, Marc, was knowledgeable and showed us along things along the way. Unfortunately, it was so muddy and took a long time and we didn’t make it all the way to the base of the falls. But you can’t control Mother Nature. We enjoyed hanging out with the dogs and even though we didn’t get to see the sunset, our night sail was beautiful!

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

• Truly perfect day sail & island experience.

  Everything we could have asked for in a private sail and hike - accompanied only by the extraordinary captain and his small, able crew on a 50+ ft two-masted wooden sailboat - a fabulous, beautiful and perfect cruise. Initially sailed an hour or two from port to a small bay with a short ride to an incredible hike, with trails up through the forest - all guided by the local staff - examining cocoa, nutmeg and banana trees and the vast tropical fauna. Turned around at a large waterfall (Concord) - and then back to the boat, where the dogs were still asleep. Had the best meal of our entire week in Grenada, courtesy of the boat's chef. Plenty of time to digest as the afternoon cooled - then moored at the Grenada's underwater sculpture garden. Snorkeled (tho we were virtual rookies), with fine (in-water) supervision from the captain, seeing every one of the sunken sculptures. More snacks on board, with easy (that is, unrestricted) access to more than a dozen flavored rum casks. Nice sail back to port complete with sunset and wide berths around the local party boats. Whether on land or water - and without pressure nor prejudice - every member of the team provided as much regional history and island facts as we could absorb. Have signed-on for multiple crewed day sails throughout the Caribbean, yet this one was by far, far, the best - elegant, relaxed, well done and effortless (ahh, the hike took effort - but it should..). Hotel lobby pick up and return. Next time in Grenada will do it again. Highest recommendation - 11 stars out of 10.

  Our private cruise was an incredible experience. Captain Derrick was knowledgeable and friendly. Alvin and Yola praised delicious meals and took care of any of our needs. The boat is a beauty…all wood and comfortable to pass the day in any conditions. The team perfectly orchestrated our day. Even the arranged shuttle to and from our hotel meant all we had to do was relax and enjoy. The sailing was peaceful. The hike was an immersive experience in the rain forest where we got to see local foliage, cocoa, nutmeg, banana and plantain trees. We enjoyed a cool dip at the waterfall. Snorkeling at the under water sculptor park was amazing at a time of day we had it all to ourselves. Really, it felt like the day was made just for us. We wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

  My wife and I did the sea and land tour last week. We were fortunate enough to have two guides, Nick Neon. Both were exceptional, I would highly recommend we're requesting them for your tour. The sights and information were wonderful, but getting to know these two young men, was the highlight.

• Private tour with Norland and we can't say enough good things!

  We booked a full day boat and sunset cruise and from that - we had the ability to communicate with Marc via Trip Advisor. I commented on that review that our driver - Norland picked us up for that trip BUT we then wanted to do more on the island. So - I emailed Marc and asked if Norland could pick us up again and see Concord Falls. Yep - not a problem. Norland got to resort exactly on time. As we drove to Concord Falls - it takes a min of 1 hour to maybe 1.5 - we got to see a lot of the island and we loved that. Norland would tell us all about everything and is a great tour guide. The drive there actually was a nice bonus. Fun - while driving through the island you see all sorts of plants and the like. Norland would stop at each and tell us about what we are seeing - nutmeg, breadfruit, papaya, golden apple (lord they are good), cocoa and many more. Note - Concord Falls has a lower more touristy part and then an upper more remote and rugged part. That is what we did so be prepared for up hill hiking over logs, rocks and crossing streams. We loved it. Feels like you are no where near civilization and in a rain forest (it was raining). Very muddy. Bring old shoes! Along the way he cut down a cocoa pod and we saw how that works. Had no idea and you must taste a seed raw - tastes like starburst and that blew our mind. He had music on a portable speaker too that was fun. Talked the whole way. Felt very safe and it was a lot of fun. The top of the falls. Holy cow. We swam in the cool and refreshing water and the hike was so worth it. Love our pictures. Thank you again for being a wonderful host Norland. We loved your hospitality.
