This 9-hour Santiago private stopover experience is designed for those staying only the one day in Santiago, and includes a private tour and transport services from and to the airport. Inaugurated in 1925 by President Arturo Alessandri Palma, it connects the Caupolicán Square with the Summit of the San Cristóbal Hill. Its first station was built with stone edged from the same hill in the form of a medieval tower by the architect Luciano Kulczewski. You can arrive through this transport to the National Zoo. On November 16, 2000, it was declared a National Historic Landmark for the value of its complex cable transport system and its importance as a patrimonial element of Santiago.

    We had only one full day in Santiago, excellent city day trip. Our guide Jamie was great, very knowledgeable. Had a wonderful lunch. Highly recommend.

    Our all day excursion in Santiago was a wonderful way to spend the day instead of waiting at the airport or venturing out on our own. Our tour guide Luis spoke good English and was very informative. The company contacted us through WhatsApp and let us know that he would pick us up at 10:30am instead of 8:00am. The tour included a wonderful lunch. The main course was great; I got salmon and my husband got chicken. They were both large portions and came with potato or rice choices and salads and a wonderful dessert. All admissions were included. I only wish I had asked Viator what the appropriate gratuity would be because I am always uncertain about that.

    We had a memorable day. We were able to see a lot of interesting sites in Santiago and visit a winery. Our guide, Luis is pleasant, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We learned about culture and history. The tour was as they described and more. This is a great way to see Santiago in one day.

    Our tour guide, Erik, was wonderful adapting the tour to ladies with mobility issues. He was knowledgeable about his city show us many of the highlights. His sense of humor made the tour one of the most fun we had. We went to a great restaurant before going to the airport for the long trip home.
