A few things you will very possible discover along the way include a Sibenik patron saint, first canonized Croatian man, theater where doctor Kovach (from ER) started his career, noblemen, first and second city title, four fortresses, two sieges, the German name of one fortress, medieval «oil», the Orthodox church that was a catholic monastery that was a Templar knights castle, the first mechanical public clock which was stolen, fire, Venetians, a really old church, three year siege, wars ( mainly with the Ottomans), plague ( not first hand hopefully), a small cemetery, perhaps an original funeral if you are lucky, bombed churches, a local oligarch who turned his house into monastery, bricking up corners on the streets, war with Venetians, destruction, more war ( mainly with the Yugoslav army), medieval toilet and air condition, Cathedral with tolling of bells from Vatican,Games of Thrones, sale of Dalmatia, damaged noses, bricks from Venice, form of punishment and quite a lot more.

Honestly this is the best tour I’ve ever taken! Beyond a tour guide, Igor is a passionate historian who will give you an amazing amount of information that he makes easily digestible with fascinating stories and humor! Can’t wait to come back and do more tours with him. If you don’t add an Igor tour to your agenda you are missing out!

We had an amazing walking tour with Igor in Sibeni, which exceeded our expectations, even though we read the other reviews previously. Igor is extremely knowledgeable and fun at the same time. He also does his own research of Sibenik history which he is really passionate about. During our tour we also learned about his roots in Croatia and Sibenik, how he fell in love with this wonderful city. We really enjoyed the time with Igor, his is a real professional and a charming person. We would highly recommend his tours to anyone.

Igor is a fantastic guide! Our tour was both highly informative and full of fun. His deep historical knowledge amazed us, especially the way he connected events in Šibenik with other times and countries. He also shared wonderful stories about local food, culture, and traditions that brought the city to life. And as a sweet surprise, he even gave us little souvenirs at the end of the tour—such a thoughtful touch!

Igor was brilliant! We’ve done many tours and this tour is our all time best. His historic knowledge and great humour on tour was excellent plus the extra hidden gems we would not have seen. Highly highly recommend!! Don’t visit Sibenik without Igor! Thank you for the amazing memories.

We were guided by Igor! A very nice experience! Nice and cozy streets that are only more beautiful and charming because of Igor's explanation. He shows the hidden corners, can tell wonderful stories and guides you through the streets. Igor tells from an original angle and perspective what was definitely an added value for us (and our two adolescent sons). In short, highly recommended!

My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed Igor's tour. Igor is knowledgeable about his town and its history and delivers the content in an engaging way. It was a delight to be shown around Sibenik by a local guide who has such passion and love for his town. We appreciated the extra touches like the gift of dried figs from his family. Highly recommended.
