08:30 or 12:00 noon pickup hotel lobby or residence in Amman. The tour is available every weekday, except during Ramadan. Our English speaking driver will take you to Downtown, locally known as Al Balad.

With a local guide start with a visit to the Citadel, the hilltop site witnessing several civilizations like the Assyrians, Romans and Umayyads. Major landmarks are the remains of the Temple of Hercules, a Byzantine church, the Umayyad Palace and the small Archaeological Museum.

This was a great experience/ introduction to Jordan food. Our guide Mohammed Al-Quadi picked us up right on time. We visited all the sites in the itinerary and had a special guide at the Citadel. We Danielle so much food, we were very full! But it was a really good mix of walking and food tasting. Highly recommend this tour.

Great tour with Mohammed Masoud. We visited the Citadel and the Colosseum before enjoying some great fiod. Mohammed was excellent explaining the sites and answered all our questions. The food tour was excellent...the best falafel we have had. Plus the dessert of kanafa was excellent. Would highly recommend if you are visiting Amman.

Great tour of Amman highlights including Citadel and Theatre. Nice sampling of food including fabulous dessert! Firas was an excellent driver and guide. He was kind and considerate and very knowledgeable. We loved this tour.

Superb - a great way to visit the main sights with a knowledgeable guide and eat on the way at local favourites! Plenty of delicious food, a good mix of savoury, sweet, mint tea, Arabic coffee, etc. Definitely recommend. Mohammed was 5/5

Obama was a great driver and guide who was friendly knowledgeable and made the experience really great. The food and drink tried was tasty and authentic and everyone was extremely friendly. To top it off we started by seeing 2 of the top Sightseeing landmarks of Amman the Citadel and Roman theater

Great day out with Firas as our guide. As it was the first day of Ramadan tour of Amman took place in morning and the food part in the evening. Excellent local guide for the Citadel and Roman amphitheater. Evening part with Firas was great - good food at locally popular restaurants and excellent selection of street food and drinks. Highly recommended.

I had the most incredible day. My guide was Oqba Doleh who extremely knowledgeable of Amman and Jordan as a whole. He introduced me to real Jordanian food and people. My day ended with a crowning visit to a mosque. What a day. He is an excellent tour guide.
Hits all the top must haves of Jordanian street and comfort food.

This tour definitely hit all the top must haves of Jordanian street and comfort food. The tour of the amazing Citadel had an additional guide who provided an understanding of its ancient history and gave us some time to explore on our own as well. Mohammad was our main guide and he was both friendly and patient. We never felt rushed or on a strict schedule although I’m pretty sure we went beyond our designated time. He was also flexible enough to add a different stop when we said we’d already been to the Roman Theater. He was not as talkative as some guides we’ve had but he answered our questions and clearly knows his city.
