The tour was truly exceptional. Our guide was not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly personable, which added a wonderful touch to the experience and made it all the more memorable. The selection of food was diverse and enticing, and the drink pairings complemented each dish beautifully. With so many delicious options to choose from, it’s nearly impossible to pick a favorite—all of them left a lasting impression!

What an experience. Where do I start. It’s got to be with Thin who was an incredible ambassador for Saigon and the local eateries including a Michelin recommended eatery. We were celebrating one of my wife’s major decile birthdays. I thought trying over 10 local dishes at 6+ eateries in Saigon would be a once-in-a-lifetime birthday experience. We started with the Michelin recommended eatery where we created our own fish and bbq beef rice wraps. Thin made sure our fish fillets were deboned and taught us how to create the wholesome and farm to table wraps. Next we went to a noodle eatery. Followed by a quick stop to a sugar cane grinder kiosk with fresh sugar cane drinks that were delicious. We then went to a local cookery that had amazing bbq shrimp, delicately spiced scallops, along with fried chicken. Another highlight was watching them make us fresh Logan or coconut with avocado ice cream. We ended the night at the flower market. Thin made my wife’s birthday so special. We had door to door pickup from our hotel to District 3 eateries. Amazing 4+ hour private tour experience. The company is Street Food Man. They are awesome at hand selecting the eateries.

I've always heard that Vietnamese food was great, but would never have had the knowledge (nor courage!) to try real Vietnamese food. This tour had great food, more than enough useful culinary learning (who knew that all those leaves were so delicious?), a little history and language practice, and an absolutely delightful and energetic guide named Grace, who made sure we had a terrific experience. 100% safe and fun - highly recommend!!!

The street food tour was incredible! There is so much food to try, so make sure you come hungry. Our guide Catherine was so friendly and gave us lots of tips for traveling in Vietnam, and made sure we knew all about the food we were eating. Our favourites were the fried rice cakes and the avocado ice cream.

We were fortunate to have the guidance and knowledge of our lovely young food tour guide Jason (English name) We were picked up from our hotel in district 1 and were taken to district 3 and district 10 where we sampled a variety of culinary dishes, eating in local restaurants where we experienced authentic street food including eating at a Michelin Star restaurant. Jason taught us how to enjoy certain dishes and local delicacies. We even learned how to fold the petals of a lotus flower while walking through a flower market. The introduction the food walking street in district 10 was something we would never have experienced if not on the tour with Jason from The Street food man.
