Your local street food guide, who has a huge passion with Vietnamese street food will pick you up at your hotel by taxi then leave the tourist area behind and start your food adventure to non-tourist district, a street food paradise, while tasting ‘Banh Xeo” and “Banh Khot” – The Central, and South’s rice pancake with a lot of fresh Vietnamese vegetables. Stroll along a street known for its barbecue seafood vendors and head to a local-favorite restaurant to taste the best "bo la lot" (beef in wild betel leaves) or "banh canh Trang Bang"- special pork noodle soup or thick noodles soup with codfish pie which is the speciality from Street Food Man Vinny’s village. Your immersion in mouth-watering food continues as you head to the alleys of food in the heart of street food district and sample a tasty “bot chien", Pan - fried rice cakes with egg and spring onions which is cooked by a local chef with over 25 years experience and then quench your thirst with a sugar cane juice mixed with a little orange. Next up on your food adventure is Banh Mi - Saigon Baguette. You will experience the perfect fusion of 4 delicious flavors just after the first bite. Walk into the heart of district 3 and discover the old apartments has the name Nguyen Thien Thuat, which is home to dozens of famous Vietnamese street food that will tempt your stomach. On the corner of Seafood alley, you will sit like the locals, and get munching, crunching, sipping and slurping BBQ seafood (if you are allergic to seafood, it will be replaced by BBQ meat). Have local drinks with Saigon special beer or soft drink, mineral water and homemade Vietnamese rice wine. Cap off your Saigon street food walking tour at the night flower market by enjoying an amazing dessert which is coconut ice cream, longan ice cream or flan cake with caramel and coffee. Your local guide will take a taxi to go with you get back to your accommodation.

5.00One of our favorite tours while in Viet Nam. Our tour guide Anna showed us all of her favorite hidden gems. Try the Bo la lot. Well worth the Michelin star review. The fish broth at our second restaurant was excellent as well. Anna’s food knowledge was greatly appreciated as well as her command of the English language. We tired right before the Tet holiday which was a crazy time. Felt well cared for throughout the whole process.

5.00This was one of the most enjoyable parts of our 17 days trip to Vietnam. Our guide Vejo picked us up at the hotel and guided us through the gastronomic maze which is Ho Chi Mihn City. Vejo is polite, educated, funny and speaks great English. Food was great, pace of the tour well judged and not rushed. Vejo also stressed on safety which is a must in the big city. It was overall a really great experience, we highly recommend Vejo and his company.
Amazing food. Eugene was great. Would definitely recommend

5.00This was more than just a street food tour, absolutely first class, our guide Nhung (Tessie) was amazing, very knowledgeable, and really took great care of us, she went the extra mile to make this such a memorable trip. 100% recommend this trip, great food and a gentle pace, just would not have seen these things without be guided.

5.00Eugene did an excellent job guiding us through our food tour. He took time to explain each dish, its significance, the ingredients, and answered many other cultural questions throughout our evening together. We walked between a few different restaurants and enjoyed seeing some sights of vendors which added to the experience. It was like joining a local friend and seeing how they live and eat in the city. Everything was clean and tasted delicious. We all liked all 10 dishes. Eugene made sure we felt comfortable with our diffferent dietary preferences. I recommend the tour to anyone who wants to learn more about the foods in Saigon from a local expert like Eugene.

5.00We absolutely loved this tour and our guide Eguene made sure it was a great experience. We went in expecting a food tour, but we got so much more. We loved each day and Eugene made sure we knew how each meal was made, why it was culturally significant and how to eat it which we would have likely not figured out on our own. The tour included different types of spots with some being in hidden local corners that we would not have figured out without the tour. The tour was on foot and made us feel we were experiencing the culture and learning so much about the day to day of people living here while also enjoying the amazing meals. The walking allowed us to digest and really appreciate all that was around us bEguene also was very knowledgeable and answered so many of our questions. The small attention to detail also really made us feel taken care of on the tour. He provided us with sanitizer and wipes at each stop, ensuring there were options for our dietary restrictions, and even removed shells of the shrimp so we didn’t do the tedious task but could enjoy the meal. This tour was such a highlight of our trip and Eguene went above and beyond to make it so memorable. We would recommend it to anyone. And for anyone reading this who is worried about a food tour, we have two individuals on the tour who have very sensitive stomachs and there was not a single complaint regarding anything following the tour.

5.00We all had a wonderful time during our food tour with Thuy and Min-gee. They were attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. We learned so much from them and they answered my many, many questions. We enjoyed the food options and seeing the city from a local point of view. I highly recommend the tour, as it is a great way to experience HCMC!
