Your local street food guide, who has a huge passion with Vietnamese street food will pick you up at your hotel by taxi then leave the tourist area behind and start your food adventure to non-tourist district, a street food paradise, while tasting ‘Banh Xeo” and “Banh Khot” – The Central, and South’s rice pancake with a lot of fresh Vietnamese vegetables. Stroll along a street known for its barbecue seafood vendors and head to a local-favorite restaurant to taste the best "bo la lot" (beef in wild betel leaves) or "banh canh Trang Bang"- special pork noodle soup or thick noodles soup with codfish pie which is the speciality from Street Food Man Vinny’s village. Your immersion in mouth-watering food continues as you head to the alleys of food in the heart of street food district and sample a tasty “bot chien", Pan - fried rice cakes with egg and spring onions which is cooked by a local chef with over 25 years experience and then quench your thirst with a sugar cane juice mixed with a little orange. Next up on your food adventure is Banh Mi - Saigon Baguette. You will experience the perfect fusion of 4 delicious flavors just after the first bite. Walk into the heart of district 3 and discover the old apartments has the name Nguyen Thien Thuat, which is home to dozens of famous Vietnamese street food that will tempt your stomach. On the corner of Seafood alley, you will sit like the locals, and get munching, crunching, sipping and slurping BBQ seafood (if you are allergic to seafood, it will be replaced by BBQ meat). Have local drinks with Saigon special beer or soft drink, mineral water and homemade Vietnamese rice wine. Cap off your Saigon street food walking tour at the night flower market by enjoying an amazing dessert which is coconut ice cream, longan ice cream or flan cake with caramel and coffee. Your local guide will take a taxi to go with you get back to your accommodation.

5.00Our guide Vejo, was outstanding. This was one of the best, if not the best food tour we have experienced. We tend to do them to experience cities, by getting a better understanding of their culture and food. The food was chosen with care to meet specific dietary requirements and it was excellent. I loved the night market, the hubbub, flowers, noises and smells. I would highly recommend this tour.

5.00I scheduled a private walking Food Tour months prior to arrival in HCM. So glad I chose Food Walking Man based on the outstanding Trip Advisor reviews. Communication was wonderful. Our tour guide for the evening, Thuy, was very sweet, kind, patient and knowledgeable. She was early meeting us at our hotel for pick up. She made the evening fun, had a lot of informative information and was always checking with the 4 of us if we were ok to keep going etc. We would have never found the 7 stops we made along the 4 hour tour. We explored areas, and alleys with an abundance of local culture. The food was varied and delicious. Don’t make the mistake I did by eating too much on the first stop! By stop 3, the four of us were already full. You also get a selection of beverages at each destination. You learn how to cross the busy roads while waving your arm so the motorbikes avoid hitting you. You can confidently make a reservation for this tour and know it will be a diverse and wonderful experience. As an added bonus, no stomach issues prevailed! Thank you, Thuy, for your dedication, professionalism and for sharing your culture and knowledge with us. Your family has a lot to be proud of. Wishing you a bright future!

5.00We just finished an awesome food tour with Khulna (Aaron), from Streetfoodman. He was a great guy very considerate of our wants and needs never rushed us. He explained all the food and gave some history with it. We ate a lot of food all delicious He was super careful crossing the street which can be a bit scary with all the scooters. Highly recommend taking this tour

5.00We were two couples and had a blast on this tour through many delicious stops in the 3rd District. Tran was an excellent guide who took very good care of us. The food was fantastic and plentiful, and Tran managed all of the logistics seamlessly. Wonderful way to experience a broad range of tasty dishes and learn interesting things about HCMC. Hygiene was a significant concern to us and everything was handled beyond our expectations! 5.00We went on a private food tour with Lucy and had an amazing experience. She changed our itinerary on the fly to exclude food that we had already tried on our trip and added food we wanted to try. Went down some cool back streets/alleys and ate food we would never had found using google. 10/10 would recommend.
