Your local street food guide, who has a huge passion with Vietnamese street food will pick you up at your hotel by taxi then leave the tourist area behind and start your food adventure to non-tourist district, a street food paradise, while tasting ‘Banh Xeo” and “Banh Khot” – The Central, and South’s rice pancake with a lot of fresh Vietnamese vegetables. Stroll along a street known for its barbecue seafood vendors and head to a local-favorite restaurant to taste the best "bo la lot" (beef in wild betel leaves) or "banh canh Trang Bang"- special pork noodle soup or thick noodles soup with codfish pie which is the speciality from Street Food Man Vinny’s village. Your immersion in mouth-watering food continues as you head to the alleys of food in the heart of street food district and sample a tasty “bot chien", Pan - fried rice cakes with egg and spring onions which is cooked by a local chef with over 25 years experience and then quench your thirst with a sugar cane juice mixed with a little orange. Next up on your food adventure is Banh Mi - Saigon Baguette. You will experience the perfect fusion of 4 delicious flavors just after the first bite. Walk into the heart of district 3 and discover the old apartments has the name Nguyen Thien Thuat, which is home to dozens of famous Vietnamese street food that will tempt your stomach. On the corner of Seafood alley, you will sit like the locals, and get munching, crunching, sipping and slurping BBQ seafood (if you are allergic to seafood, it will be replaced by BBQ meat). Have local drinks with Saigon special beer or soft drink, mineral water and homemade Vietnamese rice wine. Cap off your Saigon street food walking tour at the night flower market by enjoying an amazing dessert which is coconut ice cream, longan ice cream or flan cake with caramel and coffee. Your local guide will take a taxi to go with you get back to your accommodation.

5.00We had such a fantastic experience on this foodie walking tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vietnam. It was such a fun and delicious way to get a real taste of Vietnamese food while also immersing ourselves in the local culture. Our guide, Vejo, was absolutely wonderful - warm, knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about sharing the food and stories behind it. He made the whole experience feel relaxed, authentic, and personal, and we learned so much from him along the way. He took us to places we never would have found on our own and explained the dishes, ingredients, and local customs in a way that made everything even more meaningful. The food was incredible, with such a great variety, and the tour gave us a much deeper appreciation for Vietnamese cuisine beyond the usual tourist spots. It was one of the highlights of our trip - not just for the food, but for the insight into everyday local life. If you love food and want a genuine, memorable way to experience the city, this tour is a must. Thank you Vejo for such a fabulous experience!

5.00For this food tour, our host Minzy met us at the hotel. We grabbed a taxi and went to the food tour area, where we got out and walked the rest of the tour. We visited 5 street food stalls in all. All of the food was really good, especially the crab noodle soup with a quail egg.

5.00We have just returned from the Street Food Evening Walking Tour which was a fantastic experience. On the day of the trip Vinny contacted us by message confirming details. Minzy was our tour guide and she made it a really fun experience. She collected us from our hotel and dropped us back at the hotel in a taxi at the end. It was our 2nd day in HCMC and we enjoyed trying the different Vietnamese foods and experiencing the streets around District 3. Minzy had a small bag and had everything in it, she could be Mary Poppins 😁. Hand sanitiser, tissues, rain ponchos and small plastic gloves which she helped shelling prawns for us. Bring your appetite there is so much food to try. By the 4th restaurant we were feeling full and worried about wasting it however Minzy asked if the untouched food could be donated to the homeless which we really liked and were very happy to do. We are so glad we did this tour, Minzy was excellent and we’d highly recommend this trip.

5.00Catherine was 100% the best food tour guide i have ever met! I was so impressed with her charm, knowledge, and ability to make me feel comfortable right away. As a solo traveler, it can sometimes be difficult to keep up with everything that’s going on, but she made the entire experience easy to follow and really fun! I with so much more knowledge from the experience than I expected. Catherine truly goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great time, and her passion really shows. She was also incredibly thoughtful about dietary needs. I’m gluten-free, and she made sure to check everything and offer suitable options, which I really appreciated. It made me feel well taken care of, and I felt great afterward. If you’re planning to join her experience, definitely come with an empty stomach you’ll want to enjoy everything!

5.00We had an amazing Vietnamese gastronomy street tour with a local footy guide, Mr Thin. Very knowledgeable of all the districts in HCMC. The food was unbelievably great and without our guide we wouldn't ever tried or noticed these local establishments and the delicious food & drink they had to offer. We can't thank enough of our guide, Mr Thin and his foody knowledge.

5.00Our Private street food tour was amazing and exactly the best way to experience HoChi Min City. The food was great and varied to hit all categories of Vietnamese food. We also saw some markets with the flower market and lotus flower experience being a highlight. NHung (Tessie) was an excellent guide and took very good care of us! I highly recommend the Street Food Man and Tessie!!!

5.00This walking food tour was really good. We had already done the motorbike food tour and were worried that the food might be a repeat, but the food on this tour was much better. Minzy was a great guide and did a great job at every stop and in between. Highly recommend this tour in HCMC.
