Your local street food guide, who has a huge passion with Vietnamese street food will pick you up at your hotel by taxi then leave the tourist area behind and start your food adventure to non-tourist district, a street food paradise, while tasting ‘Banh Xeo” and “Banh Khot” – The Central, and South’s rice pancake with a lot of fresh Vietnamese vegetables. Stroll along a street known for its barbecue seafood vendors and head to a local-favorite restaurant to taste the best "bo la lot" (beef in wild betel leaves) or "banh canh Trang Bang"- special pork noodle soup or thick noodles soup with codfish pie which is the speciality from Street Food Man Vinny’s village. Your immersion in mouth-watering food continues as you head to the alleys of food in the heart of street food district and sample a tasty “bot chien", Pan - fried rice cakes with egg and spring onions which is cooked by a local chef with over 25 years experience and then quench your thirst with a sugar cane juice mixed with a little orange. Next up on your food adventure is Banh Mi - Saigon Baguette. You will experience the perfect fusion of 4 delicious flavors just after the first bite. Walk into the heart of district 3 and discover the old apartments has the name Nguyen Thien Thuat, which is home to dozens of famous Vietnamese street food that will tempt your stomach. On the corner of Seafood alley, you will sit like the locals, and get munching, crunching, sipping and slurping BBQ seafood (if you are allergic to seafood, it will be replaced by BBQ meat). Have local drinks with Saigon special beer or soft drink, mineral water and homemade Vietnamese rice wine. Cap off your Saigon street food walking tour at the night flower market by enjoying an amazing dessert which is coconut ice cream, longan ice cream or flan cake with caramel and coffee. 5.00A huge thank you to Minzy and Streetfoodman for a fantastic tour through Saigon’s backstreets. Places we would never have found on our own. An excellent variety of food tastings. Our guide Minzy was very friendly and shared a lot of knowledge about Vietnam in general and Saigon in particular. Streetfoodman is highly recommended for those who want to experience a different and more authentic side of Saigon.

5.00What an amazing, authentic local food experience! It’s rare for a tour to live up to its five-star rating, but we were blown away by our tour with Lucy this evening. We went to six different local street food vendors over three hours, and each stop revealed more about Vietnamese culture, history and tradition. Lucy was so knowledgeable, warm and fun - it’s hard to believe this isn’t her full-time job! It really was the perfect introduction to Ho Chi Minh City. Only advice - arrive hungry!

5.00Albert was great company - he look after us so well and his English was very good! Definitely made the tour extra special to find out more about Vietnam from him. All of the food stops are delicious and so much food (we had to get one take-away) - so worth your money!! You wouldn’t find these street places on your own.

5.00This Street Food Walking tour was amazing. We did it on our 1st day in Vietnam. Doing this tour on our first evening in Vietnam really gave us a great idea of the food culture and different dishes that Vietnam has to offer. We visited 6 different food establishments and got to try a mix of Vietnamese dishes. The dishes we tried were all lovely and very flavoursome. Albert our tour guide was super friendly, fun and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour.

5.00Vejo was our tour guide for this food tour. It was a great experience especially for our first night ever in Vietnam. During the tour he showed us how to navigate local traffic, which came in handy for the rest of our trip. He introduced us to amazing food that we would have never found if we were on our own. He showed us how to properly eat each item, and ensured all food was within our dietary restrictions.
