Your local street food guide, who has a huge passion with Vietnamese street food will pick you up at your hotel by taxi then leave the tourist area behind and start your food adventure to non-tourist district, a street food paradise, while tasting ‘Banh Xeo” and “Banh Khot” – The Central, and South’s rice pancake with a lot of fresh Vietnamese vegetables. Stroll along a street known for its barbecue seafood vendors and head to a local-favorite restaurant to taste the best "bo la lot" (beef in wild betel leaves) or "banh canh Trang Bang"- special pork noodle soup or thick noodles soup with codfish pie which is the speciality from Street Food Man Vinny’s village. Your immersion in mouth-watering food continues as you head to the alleys of food in the heart of street food district and sample a tasty “bot chien", Pan - fried rice cakes with egg and spring onions which is cooked by a local chef with over 25 years experience and then quench your thirst with a sugar cane juice mixed with a little orange. Next up on your food adventure is Banh Mi - Saigon Baguette. You will experience the perfect fusion of 4 delicious flavors just after the first bite. Walk into the heart of district 3 and discover the old apartments has the name Nguyen Thien Thuat, which is home to dozens of famous Vietnamese street food that will tempt your stomach. On the corner of Seafood alley, you will sit like the locals, and get munching, crunching, sipping and slurping BBQ seafood (if you are allergic to seafood, it will be replaced by BBQ meat). Have local drinks with Saigon special beer or soft drink, mineral water and homemade Vietnamese rice wine. Cap off your Saigon street food walking tour at the night flower market by enjoying an amazing dessert which is coconut ice cream, longan ice cream or flan cake with caramel and coffee. Your local guide will take a taxi to go with you get back to your accommodation.

5.00Our family of 4 had a great tour with Vejo from the Street Food Man. He took us to District 3 & 10 and spoke about the Vietnamese culture while we feasted on local foods. Each tasty bite was prepared fresh for us as we learned how to eat it. Although it may be pricey for Vietnam, we really felt we learned while we walked through the streets of Ho Chi Minh. This is a Perfect excursion to do upon arrival and Vejo could not have been a better guide. Thank you again!

5.006 of us did the walking tour with Vejo and Minzy and had a fantastic experience. We ate food we wouldn’t have tried in tiny restaurants or street stalls in the maze of alleys in district 3. Vejo is such a good guide, he’s very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. He told us about so much more than the food and he and Minzy make a great team. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to try and understand more about Vietnamese food and culture.

Our two guides Tessie and Aaron were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing their culture and cuisine. They took us to hidden local spots we never would have found on our own, explaining the history behind each dish and the neighborhoods we explored. Every stop was delicious—from savory street snacks to unforgettable local specialties. The flavors were incredible, the portions generous, and the experience felt authentic and personal. If you want to truly taste Vietnam and understand the local food scene, this tour is a must-do!

5.00We had a great time at the food tour with Albert. He was very kind, patient and knowledgeable. Albert answered all of our questions and we had a lot and although we are not adventurous eaters, we still had a great time and plenty of food tour try.
