This private tour has it all! Sailing, snorkeling, sunset dinner cruise, and star-gazing.
Our 4.5 hour tour starts at 3:00 p.m. and ends at 7:30 p.m.
Itinerary:
Board at 3:00 p.m.
Sail to snorkel location 3:15-3:45
Snorkel & Swim: 4:00-5:30 p.m.
Sunset Dinner Cruise: 5:45-7:00 p.m.
Star-Gazing: 7:00-7:30 p.m.
You will have access to a fresh-water shower on the back deck of our catamran for rinsing off before changing into dry clothes for sunset.
At sunset, we will make a stop for sunset photos and dinner. Dinner is made according to your preference sheet, to include cocktails.
Finally, we'll sail back to the marina beneath the stars! A spectacular and relaxing way to end the day.

5.00We had a wonderful time snorkeling and sailing. From the moment we got onboard our hosts showed us an amazing time. It was a perfectly planned evening where all we had to do was sit back and enjoy. The food was delicious . Every time we turned around ,we were given a small bite of something delicious, and dinner was fabulous. Sailing back under the stars was a perfect way to end the evening. We highly recommend this very unique experience. It was our favorite night in Bonaire.
Tremendous way to watch the sunset and enjoy the best meal in Bonaire !

5.00We are a well travelled group of 3 couples. The experience with Life at 8 Knots we immediately booked a second cruise with them on our 14 day stay. Julia and James could not be more hospitable, the perfect combination of great storytelling but all the privacy we wanted. Tremendous services of drinks and snacks but not bothersome. Dinner was excellent, we had beef tenderloin and chicken. Truly the best beef dish we had on Bonaire and the chef is so pleasant and really care about his patrons. The boat is spacious and immaculate. The hanging chairs aft were a big hit and the snorkel spot they choose was great. Highly recommend Life at 8 Knots. You won’t be disappointed. We get to go again tomorrow!!!
Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

5.00It was romantic, it was fun, it was special and it far exceeded our expectations. Julia and James are great hosts, the boat was immaculate and Leo’s cooking and presentation was exquisite. We enjoyed it so much we plan to go again in March.
10/10 experience, able to accommodate vegan guests

5.00James and Julia took great care of us! The boat is gorgeous and clean, they were wonderful hosts, and James even made sure I had vegan options for dinner. It is rare that I am provided such great options. The water was gorgeous, the sunset was incredible, 10/10 experience.

5.00Our group had such a fun and memorable time sailing around Bonaire with James and Julia! We felt like we were just part of the family as James and Julia were so hospitable. First off, the boat is amazing and perfect for our group of 8 couples. Julia was such a fantastic guide snorkeling with us in some special spots around the island. We saw turtles and so so many fish. It exceeded all of our expectations! Finally, the snacks and dinner that James made for us was amazing and delicious. This truly was such a highlight of our time in Bonaire, and we’d recommend it to anyone visiting the island! Just book it and have the best time!

5.00An amazing trip! Captain Bri, Stephanie and Leo were fantastic! Stephanie was super attentive to our needs. The guava colada was wonderful! The captain included the boys and was extremely friendly and polite. Leo prepared AMAZING appetizers and dinner. We couldn’t have asked for a better crew to make our sunset cruise so memorable. Highly recommend!

5.00Oh my goodness what a treat to do a Sunset Cruise with Captain James, Julia and our dear friends. The SV Lost Cat is an amazing craft and superbly equipped for a very special experience. The food, drinks and company was exceptional and we can’t recommend this experience highly enough. We also sat on the swings off the back of Lost Cat soaking in the Caribbean. An everlasting memory, thanks so much😘

5.00Our fabulous 50 birthday celebration on the private sailboat was phenomenal! The service was perfectly executed and the drinks plentiful. We were able to celebrate with a delicious birthday cake after dinner! The owners even decorated the boat for us! Perfection from beginning to end! Memories to last a lifetime!! We will definitely do it again when we’re back in Bonaire!

5.00Our family of five join Captain James and team for an early April sunset cruise and dinner, and it is hard to describe how happy we are with the experience and its impact on us all. Their warm hospitality was equaled by the excellent fresh food and fresh drinks served with a genuine vibe that showed through for us. From teenage daughters to aspiring captain 10-year old boy to my wife and I, we all were able to slow down, take in the beauty, and really appreciate life and eachother a bit more despite frenetic schedules back home. This was easily the premier highlight of a trip to Bonaire that had many and will be a memory and experience that will stick with us. We will be back again, but I recommend everyone considering an experience like this to look no further. Enjoy and thanks again James, Julia and team! See you soon, The Wests

5.00Julia and James and Kirbys were delightful hosts. Our family did a sunset cruise and had the most relaxing time. Our favorite music was playing and the food was amazing. My 13 year old son said it was the best meal we had all week (and we had eaten at all of the top restaurants on the island). The dessert was one of our all time favorites! My son who had gone scuba diving all day was sure he was not going to snorkel. But sure enough he saw the special spot (James' favorite sunset spot) and he had to jump in the water. Luckily Julia had extra gear for him. They had everything we could have ever wanted. It was the highlight of our trip. We will certainly do this again when we return. There are several options to chose from when searching private tours, but Julia was the friendliest with all of her communications and felt so personable.
