Aloha! Come and surf with us in the beautiful Hale’iwa town located on the North Shore of Oahu! Our surf lessons are guaranteed to get you up and riding waves today! All of our surf lessons are 2 hours long, starting with a land briefing were we go over the fundamentals of surfing, surfing etiquette and most importantly ocean safety. Lessons also include fitting you with the right size surfboard and a long sleeve rash guard. All lessons are lead by professional Hawaiian waterman up to date with their CPR/AED lifeguarding skills and have lifelong knowledge of our oceans to ensure you the best surf lessons around. Whether you want a private lesson, semi private lesson or you have the whole family, contact us today and lets go surfing! What to Expect: -Guarantee to get you standing up and riding waves - Learn the fundamentals of surfing and proper ocean knowledge - 2 Hour long lesson with all gear included - Surf alongside sea turtles - Licensed and experienced staff - If anybody is unhappy at anytime of your lesson you are not obligated to pay.

5.00A great day of surfing! They booked us last minute and took out a bunch of kids with mixed skill. Kala did a great job. Everyone had a lot of fun and grew their skills. We would definitely work with them again!

5.00Amazing surf experience! Surfed Chun’s and Puaena pt. alongside honu and anuenue. Kala, Kekai, Kane, Nakoa and all the instructors are excellent, knowledgeable watermen who really know the North Shore waves and breaks. They put safety and fun first while helping you learn and improve. Les recomiendo esta escuela de surf 🏄🏽♀️ 🌊 🤙🏽!!!

5.00⸻ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our family had an amazing surf lesson with Kala—hands down the best surf lesson we’ve ever had in Hawaii. We’ve taken lessons on past visits, but this experience was on a completely different level. Kala was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging, and did an outstanding job tailoring the lesson to each family member’s ability. From safety and ocean awareness to technique and confidence, everything was explained clearly and calmly, which made a huge difference—especially for first-timers. Everyone in our group was standing up and riding waves, and more importantly, having an absolute blast. Kala’s positive energy, professionalism, and genuine love for teaching really stood out. It felt fun, safe, and confidence-building the entire time. If you’re considering a surf lesson in Hawaii, do yourself a favor and book with Kala. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and will absolutely recommend Kala to friends and family.

5.00My four kids (Ages 10-19) loved their surf lesson. They were all up and surfing within minutes of getting in the water with Anton’s instruction. Even though there were big waves that day, they found a great safe area of the beach. I highly recommend.

5.00This was an amazing surf lesson — highly recommend! It was me and my two kids and the instructor was great with all of us. Helping us paddle out and making sure we got some great waves. My kids LOVED it and are now aspiring surfers. Highly highly recommend!

5.00From beginning to end, from scheduling to surfing, North Shore Oahu School was the smoothest experience of our vacation! We came from Austin, TX with 0 experience in surfing and Kane and Maikai (sp?) got both middle age parents and 3 teenage kids up on surf boards in our first hour! Honestly, it was the highlight of our first time in Hawaii.

5.00James was awesome! He worked with my daughter who’s usually timid and had her up and surfing all the way back to the beach. He didn’t rush either of them and they both asked to spend the rest of the days of the trip surfing. Thank you!
