Explora Watersports is one of the only watersports centres located right at the beach at the optimum spot for surfing. Our team are fully qualified and we have new equipment each year. We are a family run business who's aim is to ensure you have a great time on and off the water.

Private Surf Lessons are a great way to progress really fast, it will just be you and the instructor. If you are a beginner the course will first focus on your balance and then the pop to your feet, understanding the waves, the right waves to catch and the optimum point to catch the waves. We then look at your posture and stance to extend your time on the board. If you have surfed before you will meet the instructor before your lesson to explain your level and experience, he will then tailor the course to suit you. You can have from a 2 hour private lessons through to a whole week course.

5.00We got 2h lessons with 6 friends. Fair price, good equipment and Youssef was very likable and did good lessons. We had a lot of fun and everyone could end up on the board.

5.00The Explora set up is perfect! Great location right on the beach, super helpful, knowledgeable and fun crew. Shout out to Aziz for always being ready to help with anything, to Abdou for my surf lesson and to Abdou, Ismail and Samad for getting our 3 kids kitesurfing! Awesome holiday, sad to be leaving!

5.00It was a fantastic and really fun experience! At the beginning we were a bit scared. We thought surfing was something too difficult for us. But in the end, it was easier than we expected and really for everyone. We were also afraid of the cold water, but with the wetsuits, after the first moment, we didn’t feel cold at all. We laughed a lot, we fell many times, maybe got a few hits here and there, but nothing serious. Just do it, don’t be afraid, decide and go! Our instructor Youssef was very funny and also very professional. Let’s say… he left us with a memory! Totally recommended.
