Explora Watersports is one of the only watersports centres located right at the beach at the optimum spot for surfing. Our team are fully qualified and we have new equipment each year. We are a family run business who's aim is to ensure you have a great time on and off the water.

Private Surf Lessons are a great way to progress really fast, it will just be you and the instructor. If you are a beginner the course will first focus on your balance and then the pop to your feet, understanding the waves, the right waves to catch and the optimum point to catch the waves. We then look at your posture and stance to extend your time on the board. If you have surfed before you will meet the instructor before your lesson to explain your level and experience, he will then tailor the course to suit you. You can have from a 2 hour private lessons through to a whole week course.

5.00I had such a great surf lesson with Ishmael. He was an amazing teacher and gave me really useful tips that helped me improve so much, even in just one session. I’ve taken a lot of surf lessons in different countries, and this really stood out in terms of how well he was able to spot what I needed to correct and explain it in a way that actually helped. The whole experience was super chilled, everyone was so lovely, the equipment was perfect, and it was great value for money too. Definitely worth it. Highly recommend!! I’ll definitely be coming back.

5.00I had 3 days lessons booked in. One was a wipe out because of storms. The guys are very friendly and super helpful. A great set up which was good value for money.

5.00We got 2h lessons with 6 friends. Fair price, good equipment and Youssef was very likable and did good lessons. We had a lot of fun and everyone could end up on the board.
