  This was such a fantastic experience we booked again and went twice! Booking was so easy, communication was excellent and the days were perfect. We had Ashif who made the experience so friendly, so personal, he’s just such a lovely human being. Nothing was too much trouble and it was extremely reasonably priced for such a personal experience. He had excellent recommendations of where to go, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend 😊

• Disappointing but.

  We were somewhat disappointed with this tour, I don't like to give bad reviews and this isn't a bad review merely a suggestion to others looking to book it. We thought Mauritius would be about beautiful beaches and scenic coastal drives but we didn't see any of these, we did see a beautiful chateau that had been restored but that to us isn't what would attract us here, in the UK we have many many beautiful houses with the National trust and alongside the houses stunning gardens, so we didn't need to spend hours wandering around a chateau or botanical gardens as beautiful as they are Mauritius is about the beaches etc. Yes it does mention these in the description but it also mentions a num ber of beaches which we didn't get to see and was probably the reason we booked this tour, we didn't realise that these two places and a stop for lunch would be the whole tour. On a positive note we did ask the driver to not go to the gardens, skip lunch and instead take us to a beach but he did say they were too far away by then but he did manage to take us to a small beach, so my suggestion is to double check what you are expecting out of the tour and what the driver has planned for you. Nice guy our driver and the vehicle was immaculately clean.

  

  

• Perfect tour of the North

  This trip is definitely a must do for first time visitors to Mauritius. The communication before as well as after the trip was great. Our driver Sahil was very knowledgeable, and we learned so much more about the island. The car was clean and perfectly air conditioned. We highly recommend booking this tour through Chucky taxi.

  The Mauritius north tour is highly recommended. We really enjoyed the day. Our driver Asif was a save driver, punctual, friendly and had a lot of interesting facts and information to tell us. We could stay as long or little we wanted to at the sights.

  Excellent communications with Chucky before and after our trip. Driver Akish was wonderful- knowleageable friendly, safe and flexible as expected because we had him on a previous visit. We saw all that we expected on a tour of the North and enjoyed a local restaurant on his recommendation. Highly recommended.

• Good overview of North Mauritius

  Although I didn't have time for the whole tour, the driver still took me to many places. We stopped for pics at the red roofed church by the sea. I walked the grounds of the elegant chateau, toured the home and tasted rum. I enjoyed the recommended dish, red snapper, at a local restaurant. At the botanical garden, I took a golf cart tour, which entailed an in-depth look at trees from all over the world. I also saw flying fox bats sleeping in a tree and a small animal park with tortoises there. I would recommend this tour.

  Asif our driver for the day was excellent. He was knowledgeable and had great communication making the trip informative and fun. Plus his vehicle was spotlessly clean Perfect day trip for getting a real flavour for the north of the island. We would highly recommend this trip and if your lucky enough to get Asif as well then you can’t go wrong.

  Two couples used it. They also asked us what we wanted. He was very friendly and gave me a lot of information. He explained the history of Mauritius in an easy-to-understand manner. The course was very flexible and helpful.
