We did the Private Taxi – North Guided Tour of Mauritius on the 18th November 2025, and as it was our very first tour we weren’t quite sure what to expect. Chucky arrived right on time and even sent us a photo of his vehicle with the registration plate beforehand, which instantly made us feel comfortable and well looked after. From the moment we met him, Chucky was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. He clearly explained our itinerary for the day and made sure we knew exactly what to expect at each stop. Throughout the tour, he was courteous, engaging, and very passionate about both his job and Mauritius itself. Every site was explained in detail, and his knowledge really brought the locations to life. We had an excellent day with outstanding service from start to finish. The tour was great value for money and exceeded our expectations. We were so impressed that we also booked Chucky for a trip to Tribeca Mall and again for our departure airport transfer. Such a genuinely nice guy - highly recommended!

Went to different places in North Mauritius and Port Louis on this tour. Adesh was our local guide and driver. Our favourite place was the Colonial House. We also enjoyed the Botanical Garden. We ended our tour at the waterfront of St Louis where we visited the Blue Penny Museum.
The absolutely right decision, for a day in Mauritius, to book the tour through Chucky Taxi. We will come back!!

We had an excellent day tour of the north of the island. Our driver for the day, Asif, was extremely professional & knowledgeable. He happily adjusted our tour to suit our requirements. We were so impressed we then hired Chucky for hotel to hotel and then hotel to airport transfers. Again, a first class service. Both cars were immaculate. A thoroughly recommended company.

Chucky Taxi is a great option to explore mauritius. We had Akish hosting us for the North Mauritius Day trip from Airport to Grand Baie area and we were glad that we could explore all great sites with his narration of history and culture of mauritius. Would recommend to anyone who plans to visit Mauritius

Back from Mauritius we spent 15 very pleasant days even though we didn't really enjoy the beach because of the weather, we instead did sightseeing to go around the island with an extraordinary taxi guide Kovi taxi WhatsApp +230 5796 4544 who every other day walked us for the day. He is a cultured guide, speaking perfect French, honest and engaging. You can read trust 100%, you will not be disappointed.

This was a really good trip. Our driver was knowledgeable, courteous and helpful! Beautiful beaches! We went to the Chateau ..which is extra.. and had rum tasting. But worth the cost. We were supposed to go to the botanic Gardens which I would have loved but the queue was too long to buy tickets! If these were supplied by taxi company to save time i would give the trip 5 stars!
