  We did the tour in late October with as corporate team during business trip in Budapest. It was a great Tour Experience with our Guide Andy. He showed us the most famous sights and places in Budapest and added a lot of historic, cultural and even culinaric facts and stories. How he told us everything was the exact right mix of fun and expertise. The offered food was delicious and easily enough to satisfy everyone of our group.

  This was a wonderful walking tour. Our guide, Emi was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable and gave us so much information and context of the history, historical figures and places, and she did so in a way that was conversational and that answered our many questions. She also asked us questions along the way to tailor the tour more specifically to our interests. There is a rich history here and this tour was a great introduction for us to learn even more. A big thanks to Emi for a great afternoon exploring Budapest.

  Awesome tour. Petra arranged for 2 great tours for our family. Our local tour guide was Andy, her husband, whose family of generations and Andy's experiences growing up, gave us first hand knowledge of life in Budapest. He had lots of stories to explain the history of the rulers in Hungary. We saw the beautiful architecture, infrastructure, artistic buildings, churches, statues and the Shoe Memorial. My favorite part that both saddened me and moved my heart was the tour of the Jewish sector. Wishing everyone could see this beautiful city of Budapest and learn the history. He could answer all our questions with such real life knowledge. So glad we invited him to lunch with us. He made suggestions so we could enjoy the local food in a local cafe. The food was very inexpensive. It was a four hour walking tour, about 7 miles. This is a family tour company. Highly recommend if you want to see Budapest with excellent local guide.

  Petras agency is a family affair! Her husband Andy was our 4 hour walking guide, and it was amazing. So informative. It was obvious Andy was experienced and was proud of his homeland. So many small details made for a delightful morning. Amazingly, we asked Andy to drop us at a restaurant for lunch, and we invited him to join us. We learned more about the traditional food and drink of hungry. Petra even stopped in for a quick hello. It’s was a great value too!

  This was our first tour after two days of traveling. Petra was fantastic! She was engaging, interesting and quite funny. She is clearly passionate about her country and extremely knowledgeable about it’s history. I went with my two sons (18 and 22) and we were fresh off of an exhausting journey of canceled and delayed flights. Her energy was infectious and we had an absolute blast! Great overview of the whole city. Highly recommend.

  Thank you Petra for a memorable, affordable and fun tour. I had emailed Around Budapest when I started planning my trip. Petra was very prompt in replying back and asked if we had any preferences. On the day of the tour she was on time and prepared. My young kids ages 8/10 loved her! One of my requests was to make it entertaining for the kids and educational for us. She stuck to those guidelines. We split the tour up over 2 days. One day for Buda and the next for Pest. Petra was very through and knowledgeable. She was quick to change the itinerary as we went along. Petra is funny and extremely kind. She is amazing at what she does. She has such a good energy and she was able to keep up with the kids. If you’re looking for a private tour then email Petra. You won’t regret it!

  I have to say it was our best decision to book Petra for our weekend stay in Budapest. We have booked the private city tour with the main attractions and highlights. Its amazing how she was able to pack so many details and fun facts about the city and history of the Hungarian nation into couple hours walk. We have started at Jewish Quarter and finished at Buda Castle. During the tour we also enjoyed the Xmas market with some mulled wine and palinka :-) Her support doesn't finished when we said good-buy. She sent us many must to see places, restaurants and also places close to Budapest so we were able to enjoy our way back home. I can only recommend her and definitely we will book her for our next visit as we will come back for sure :-)

  The private tour around Budapest with Petra was excellent! Places are well chosen and with this tour you will have a nice overview of the left bank of Budapest (Pest) With Petra you immediatly feel good because she is a very good listenner and advise you the best restaurants, places to visit and teach you some hungarian words (even if you don’t remember after because this is a difficult language 😂) and the most important: you are sure to laugh because there a lot of funny facts about Budapest. As well she was always on time and always answered me by message when I needed to get know some tips about Budapest. I highly recommend without hesitation this tour with Petra, the best tour guide in Budapest

  We were honored to be Petra's first Customer who booked through her new website and company to tour the Budapest Jewish Quarter. We had a wonderful 4 hours of Petra's dedicated time and enjoyed the wealth of knowledge she brought to the 4 of us as we learned about the Budapest Jewish Heritage and Culture. Petra clearly has a passion for the history and culture of Budapest, and was able to present it so clearly to all of us. Her English was excellent, and her knowledge of the Jewish people was very strong, even though she is not Jewish herself. We suspect Petra would be an excellent tour guide in any area Around Budapest, but unfortunately, we only had time to use her expertise for the Jewish Quarter. Thank you Petra for the wonderful morning you spent with us.
